Featured special guests Kelly Galloup and Paul Weamer as well as over 35 other nationally recognized fly tiers will be on hand to talk with and demonstrate various fly tying pattern and skills. We will have special presentations by Kelly Galloup on tying and fishing streamers for big trout, Paul Weamer on Writing and Photographing the Pocketguides to Pennsylvania and New York. John Shaner from Hardy covering the history of soft hackles and spiders, and Walt Gerek with spey casting demonstrations.
We will have Silent Auctions and Raffles throughout the day to benefit the Iroquois Chapter of TU, Project Healing Waters, Hope on the Rise and Casting for Recovery. We will have a fly tying table for beginners as well as open tables to tie some of your own. Several Vendors will be on hand for all your fly tying and fishing needs, as well as numerous non-Profit organizations. New to this year’s event will be a dinner at the conclusion of the day’s presentations and events. The purpose of the dinner is to aid in our fund raising efforts in support of the numerous Iroquois Chapter conservation and community related projects along with our on-going effort to financially support the worthy endeavors of Project Healing Waters, Hope on the Rise and Casting for Recovery.
