2. Emergence Caddis Larva - The Emergence Caddis Larva is one of my favorite caddis larva patterns to tie and fish. It closely resembles John Barr's Uncased Caddis but with a few different materials and tying techniques. I am tying this pattern on an Allen Fly Fishing N202 hook. This particular hook is a down-eye, 3X-long, standard wire, slightly humped nymph /dry fly hook. It works great for caddis and terrestrial nymph and dry fly patterns. Check them out by visiting www.allenflyfishing.com This particular caddis larva pattern is tied to imitate an uncased caddis larva beginning its emergence stage of its life-cycle. I generally fish this pattern as my first fly in a tandem nymph rigging set-up between late spring and early fall. The fly gives off a lot of UV light qualities which attracts fish. The UV Fly Finish Coating provides the fly with a lot of depth. Below is a quick reference on what size brass bead to use relative to the size hook you're tying on. 7. Superman Fly - In spirit of Superman being played in theaters right now, we present you with an awesome fly inspired by our superhero. It is definitely an attractor nymph, don't even know what it represents. But, we can assure it catches fish. First saw this on Fly Tyer Magazine and I became sceptical and tied it myself. Sure enough, I was proven wrong. Creator of this fly is Vince Wilcox and he's becoming more and more our favorite tyer. Try it for yourself & you'll be a believer again of Superman!!!! Please like, comment, subscribe and most emportantly... ENJOY! :) Recipe: Hook: Mustad C49S, sizes 18 to 12.
