1. Quill Wing Dry Fly - A YouTube subscriber of my channel was interested in learning how to tie wings from duck quills, thus I made this video to explain this task. I reference Mike Valla in this video, being that his books on Catskill dry flies are great for this style. Another useful resource for this wing is tied by Davie McPhail. Thanks, as always, for the views and comments, and feel free to post any questions or comments directly on this page, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

4. Frenchie Nymph - In this fly tying tutorial, I demonstrate the techniques used to tie Lance Egan's Frenchie nymph. This effective pattern has been gaining popularity over the last few years, and with good reason: It catches trout! I offer a number of variations, inlcuding tying the fly on a jig hook, which will certainly appeal to many crowds, such as those in Euro or Czech-style nymph fishing and competition anglers. Feel free to share your own variations of this fly in the "Comments" section of this YouTube page. Featured in this video are the J100BL jig hooks by Allen Fly Fishing. This hook will ride point up, thus ensuring that you will have less snags when fishing weighted patterns. You can find this hook, and many more, at the following link: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/copy-of-w501bl-wet-fly-nymph-1xl-barbless/ Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial of Lance Egan's Frenchie. 5. Bullethead Caddisfly - For this tutorial, I am demonstrating the process to tie Al & Gretchen Beatty's Bullethead Caddisfly. This is a very fun pattern to tie, especially for those who enjoy spinning deer hair. There are different ways to tie this pattern, especially for the bullethead; some insist placing the bullethead hair first, while others last. I chose the former for this pattern because I dislike crowding the remaining sections of this fly. This is also a fun pattern to fish, as I describe in the video. Thanks for viewing this pattern, and feel free to leave comments/questions on this page or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

6. Tying Dry Fly Tails with Microfibetts - During this tutorial, I explain three techniques for utilizing microfibetts when tying dry flies. There are other options available for adding tailing fibers, yet these three are all quick and easy, plus help to imitate the natural adult stage of the mayfly. After tying the tailing fibers in, continue to finish the fly with either dubbing, herl, quill, etc. I prefer the use of microfibett tailing fibers with finicky trout, especially when I want to ensure the fibers will closely represent the natural insect while maintaining buoyancy for the pattern. 7. Deer Hair Ant - In this fly tying tutorial, less is definitely more! Featured in this video is a deer hair ant consisting of just a couple materials. The buoyant fly is realistic, easy to tie, and most importantly, effective. I first stumbled across this pattern in George Harvey's book and believe this to be one of the best ant patterns out there. You can also turn this into a high-visibility fly by adding some fluorescent yarn to the top. As always, if you decide to revise the pattern at all, please feel free to share the results! The hook that I feature in this fly tying tutorial is the N202 from Allen Fly Fishing. This hook is intended for terrestrials and really suits this pattern. You can view this hook (and more) at the following link: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/n202-nymph-dry-fly/ Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial; feel free to leave any comments/questions directly on this YouTube page, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

9. Josh's White Lightning - In this fly tying tutorial, I feature a fly that was created by Josh Williams of Dead Drift Flies (http://www.deaddriftflies.com/). This pattern, Josh's White Lightning, is an attractor nymph that fishes well in a lot of water types, including slightly off-color. This is an easier pattern to tie, and I encourage you to vary it based on the fish in your area (color modifications would be the best to play around with). Featured in this fly tying tutorial are the N202 hooks by Allen Fly Fishing. I utilize these for a lot of patterns, including some hoppers, terrestrials, nymphs, and certain soft hackles. They can be found at the following link: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/n202-nymph-dry-fly/ Thanks for viewing this tutorial; please feel free to leave any comments/questions directly on this YouTube page, or you can email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher
