4. Quill Wing Dry Fly - A YouTube subscriber of my channel was interested in learning how to tie wings from duck quills, thus I made this video to explain this task. I reference Mike Valla in this video, being that his books on Catskill dry flies are great for this style. Another useful resource for this wing is tied by Davie McPhail. Thanks, as always, for the views and comments, and feel free to post any questions or comments directly on this page, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

5. Holy Grail Nymph - During this fly tying tutorial for the Holy Grail nymph, I give a brief background on how I came across the pattern, followed by the materials and tying procedures. The Holy Grail, which I first came across on the Orvis website, is a no-nonsense pattern that can be utilized for both caddis and mayfly nymphs. It can easily be fished in a "dry-dropper" situation, and colors I recommend aside from this olive pattern include tan, brown, and black. If you decide to alter this pattern and find your variation more effective (or simply unique!), be sure to share in the comments section below. Featured in this fly tying tutorial are the N204BL hooks from Allen Fly Fishing; you can find these hooks and many others at the following link: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/n204bl-shrimp-caddis-scud-thin-wire-barbless/ Additionally featured in this fly tying tutorial is UNI-Mylar in the Holographic Chartreuse color. This material is another great one in the UNI line, and you can view information about their products at the following link: http://www.uniproducts.com Finally, this video featured the Stonfo Kaiman vise, which I have received a lot of comments about. I recommend this vise to all ranges of tyers, and you can find information regarding it at the following link: http://www.stonfo.it Thanks for viewing this YouTube fly tying tutorial on the Holy Grail Nymph; feel free to leave any comments/questions on this page, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

7. Biot Body Sulfur Parachute Dry Fly - Featured in this YouTube fly tying tutorial is the Biot Body Sulfur Parachute dry fly, a pattern intended to represent the adult/dun stage of the sulfur mayfly. I prefer a turkey biot body on this pattern in specific instances, including low-water situations and over highly-pressured fish. The biot body creates an excellent segmentation that closely represent the natural insect. If you feel there are additional materials to create a similar effect, please share those in the "Comments" section of this video. Thanks go out to Allen Fly Fishing for the use of their D102BL dry fly hook; you can find this hook, and many others, at the following link: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/d102bl-dry-fly-wide-gape-barbless/ Thanks for viewing this YouTube fly tying tutorial; feel free to leave any comments/questions directly on this page, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

8. Frenchie Nymph - In this fly tying tutorial, I demonstrate the techniques used to tie Lance Egan's Frenchie nymph. This effective pattern has been gaining popularity over the last few years, and with good reason: It catches trout! I offer a number of variations, inlcuding tying the fly on a jig hook, which will certainly appeal to many crowds, such as those in Euro or Czech-style nymph fishing and competition anglers. Feel free to share your own variations of this fly in the "Comments" section of this YouTube page. Featured in this video are the J100BL jig hooks by Allen Fly Fishing. This hook will ride point up, thus ensuring that you will have less snags when fishing weighted patterns. You can find this hook, and many more, at the following link: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/copy-of-w501bl-wet-fly-nymph-1xl-barbless/ Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial of Lance Egan's Frenchie. 9. WD-40 Bead Head Midge - For this tutorial, I chose a simple pattern that even the beginner tyer can handle, the WD-40. Modifying this pattern from the original, I chose Coq de Leon fibers for the tail and wing case. The addition of this fiber adds to the durability of the pattern, plus the fibers are mottled with great coloration. This specific pattern is tied a chocolate brown, but don't be afraid to also try black, olive, grey, and anything else would be representational on your home waters. Thanks for viewing, and feel free to leave comments/questions on this YouTube page or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

10. Hot Spot Spider (soft hackle) - Featured in this fly tying tutorial is the Hot Spot Spider, a slight variation of the classic that so many North Country flies rotate around. Spiders, also commonly referred to as soft hackles, typically consist of thin silk thread bodies and sparse amounts of hackle from varying game birds. This pattern adds a modern material, Glo-Brite, for a hot spot by its head. In this tutorial, I also show how to properly prepare a hackle for spider and soft hackle patterns. The hook used in this tutorial is one of my favorite wet fly / nymph hooks, the W502BL from Allen Fly Fishing. With a sproat bend and 2x heavy, this classic looking nymph hook is perfect for spiders and soft hackles. You can find the hook at the following link: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/w502bl-wet-fly-nymph-barbless/ Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial, feel free to leave comments & questions directly on this YouTube page, or you can email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher
