21. In Our Time - We're fortunate to enjoy 3 months fly fishing the South Island of New Zealand each year. On each trip, our time, we're completely engaged in the fly fishing, the landscape, the birds, beech forests, tussock lands... and we simply lose ourselves during that time. Of course, the fly fishing is spectacular - both easy as and tough as, but that's how it goes. In Our Time is in reference to not only what we do, but how the New Zealand trout go about their business of feeding - they'll get there they say 'In Our Time". Each scene of this short video represents the end game of a lot of planning of where & when to fish, getting the right camera position, tramping 1km or 10 hours, and enjoying our time. Of course, if you are fortunate enough to spend that amount of concentrated, communicative time with your spouse and understand that kind of commitment, this video also represents a lot of intense quality time together. And that's us, Dave & Amelia Jensen - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

24. Crystal Conehead Woolly Bugger - Two Minute Fly Tying: The Crystal Conehead Woolly Bugger Continuing my Two Minute Tying series, I chose a basic pattern that always hooks fish, the Crystal Bugger. Derived from a Woolly Bugger, the crystal bugger employs a crystal chenille that allows the body of the fly to sparkle, therefore attracting more fish. In this version, I chose not to include hackle because the chenille I used had such long fibers, making the hackle unnecessary. Definitely vary your own pattern, altering the color combinations, beads at the front, or use of hackle; feel free to share those new patterns on this page, especially as a Video Response. Thanks for viewing, and be sure to post and comments/questions either here or my email: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

25. Sulfur/PMD Sparkle Dun - For this tutorial, I chose a fly created and popularized by Craig Matthews, the Sparkle Dun. This fly is a modified version of the comparadun, and represents a number of stages occurring before the dun is fully emerged. Featuring an Allen Fly Fishing hook for this tie (http://www.allenflyfishing.com/d101bl-standard-dry-fly-barbless/), I selected a sulfur / pmd pattern, which can be easily adjusted to match the mayfly of your choice. Be sure to locate the correct deer hair to ensure a proper wing when tying, as I show in the video. 29. Sage CIRCA - It might be a commercial, but man it's beautiful! If you're a devotee of the casting nuances of the slow action fly rod, a student of its historic ties to our sport, or just like the thrill of moving in close to actively feeding fish, consider the new CIRCA a reward for your years of dedication. But be warned: the CIRCA does not mimic the type of slow action that has so far defined the category - overly soft, willowy and flat. Instead, thanks to Konnetic technology's ability to compact and align more carbon fibers into a smaller diameter blank, we were able to design a radically narrow taper throughout the length of the rod, resulting in consistently slow, yet responsive action from butt to tip. The new CIRCA is a technologically advanced slow-action fly rod that honors your slower, more deliberate casting style, yet is every bit a Sage. - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

30. Quill Wing Dry Fly - A YouTube subscriber of my channel was interested in learning how to tie wings from duck quills, thus I made this video to explain this task. I reference Mike Valla in this video, being that his books on Catskill dry flies are great for this style. Another useful resource for this wing is tied by Davie McPhail.
