61. Zuddler Conehead Minnow - In this fly tying tutorial, I share a popular streamer, the Zuddler Conehead Minnow, which is a cross between two other extraordinary patterns. This fly, part Zonker and part Muddler Minnow, has lots of characteristics that fish like, including great movement from the rabbit strip and a front profile that resembles many bait fish. I offer a number of variations throughout this tutorial, and encourage you to share any you create. On a related note, this is a video response to a younger member of our fly tying community; I recommend that you check out Jordan Lee's tying of this pattern, too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDkS49K6fS8 Featured in this tutorial is the S403 Streamer hook by Allen Fly Fishing. This hook is excellent to tie both this pattern and many others due to its shank being 3xl. You can view this hook at the following link: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/s403-nymph-streamer-3xl/ Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial; feel free to leave any comments/questions directly on this YouTube page, or you can email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

62. Josh's White Lightning - In this fly tying tutorial, I feature a fly that was created by Josh Williams of Dead Drift Flies (http://www.deaddriftflies.com/). This pattern, Josh's White Lightning, is an attractor nymph that fishes well in a lot of water types, including slightly off-color. This is an easier pattern to tie, and I encourage you to vary it based on the fish in your area (color modifications would be the best to play around with). Featured in this fly tying tutorial are the N202 hooks by Allen Fly Fishing. I utilize these for a lot of patterns, including some hoppers, terrestrials, nymphs, and certain soft hackles. They can be found at the following link: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/n202-nymph-dry-fly/ Thanks for viewing this tutorial; please feel free to leave any comments/questions directly on this YouTube page, or you can email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

63. Simi Seal Leech - Leech patterns are favorites among stillwater fishing specialists, and this pattern tends to be a common "go-to" for many. The Simi Seal Leech, created by John Rohmer, is a great fly tying pattern for everyone due to its relative ease. Variations are absolutely possible and encouraged, hence one of the reasons I tie this pattern in white to represent minnows in local waters. The hook used in this tutorial is the Allen Fly Fishing S402BL, a great barbless hook that is 2xl, perfect for streamers and longer nymphs. They can be found online: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/n212bl-nymph-streamer-2xl-barbless/ Thanks for viewing this ly tying tutorial; feel free to leave comments and/or questions on this YouTube page or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

64. Caddis Larva Bead Head - In this brief fly tying video, I showcase a durable and effective pattern for trout, the caddis larva. Tied as a bead head (though I show one sans bead @ the end), this pattern will get down to the fish quickly, while the picked-out dubbing does a great job representing the gills and legs of the natural insect. Be sure to tie this pattern in colors that match the larva in waters you fish, and don't be afraid to try a few with a hot spot. Thanks for viewing this tutorial, and feel free to leave comments/questions on this site, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

65. Headcase Crayfish - Here is my latest articulated streamer that I concocted to represent an adult crayfish. The fly comes in at around 3-3-1/2 inches and is what I would call a moderately weighted pattern that can be fished in a multitude of ways and with a floating or sinking line. So far she has racked up several species including northern pike, brown and rainbow trout, small and large mouth bass and even striped bass in the salt. Seconds for a great juvenile lobster pattern. Currently I tie it in the crayfish orange, olive/blue and tan colors but feel free to experiment.Cast: Richard StrolisTags: crayfish patterns, crayfish fly, juvenile lobster fly, fly fishing, flytying, trout flies, bass flies, pike flies, streamers and articulated streamers - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

67. Chartreuse Redfish Clouser Minnow - This Chartreuse Clouser Minnow is one of my go-to patterns for big redfish in the Delta Marsh south of New Orleans. I like to tie this streamer pattern with relatively light bead chain eyes so that my fly doesn't sink out of sight too quickly. Big redfish charge this fly and eat it as soon as they see it. I believe this redfish pattern imitates a shrimp or a small baitfish. Capt Matt guides fly fishermen to the big redfish south of New Orleans. Sight fishing is best in the clear shallow water of the Mississippi Delta Marsh October, November and December. This fly fishing is as good as it gets. If you would like to book a charter go to http://www.riplips.com Lunch, tackle and fish slime provided. - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

68. Red Worm - This fly is easy. Not all flies have to be advanced and difficult to tie. We were introduced to this pattern while fishing the Salzach river in Austria. In murky and fast waters trout and grayling need a notable fly. Chironomids are present in most of our waters, so it’s always a good all-round pattern. Usually we fish it with some split shots about 20-30cm’s away from the fly, or, when allowed, fish a very heavy nymph on the dropper. We use this fly on barbel as well. A very effective pattern! - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

69. October Caddis Pupa - Dustin's October Caddis Pupa fly pattern is a great fly to swing for steelhead and even trout at the end of September just prior to the emergence of the adult October caddis. It is best to coordinate your timing will the falling of the the leaves. October caddis are already an unpredictable hatch, but the pupa become active when they notice temperatures falling. Also, look for pupal shucks along bankside rocks and you will know the time is right. Sometimes fishing a pupa pattern versus the actual adult on the surface will produce more strikes since it is the easier take for steelhead. Fish this pattern with confidence and hang on! - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

70. Napoleon's Dynamite nymph - Featured in this fly tying tutorial is a pattern that is popular among the Czech/Euro nymphing crowd, Napoleon's Dynamite. This is a fly that features weight, a slender body, and a couple hot spots. Combined with those characteristics are some great colors, and we have a pattern that catches lots of fish. The hot spot can be as a tag or collar, with the former being more effective in areas that receive lots of fishing pressure. Feel free to modify this pattern to meet the needs of your fishing, and I recommend starting by substituting other fluorescent colors. Featured in this tutorial are the J100BL jig hooks from Allen Fly Fishing; check out these hooks and other fly fishing supplies here: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/ Also featured in this video are tungsten slotted disco beads from Rip Lips Fishing. These are great beads, and I encourage you to check out these and all of the other varieties here: http://www.riplipsfishing.com/ Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial of Napoleon's Dynamite.
