81. Utah Killer Bug - In this fly tying tutorial, I wanted to share a fly given to me by my buddy Tom, the Utah Killer Bug. This fly can represent a myriad of insects depending on how you tie it. From the crane fly larva to scud, this pattern tied in a nondescript color seems to simply look like a bug (especially when it's wet!). There are a couple variations shown at the end, plus you can always make this pattern into a soft hackle, which can then touch on the caddis spectrum. Tom, thanks for sharing this pattern! Mentioned in the introduction of this video was a shout-out to the Eldredge Brothers Fly Shop; this is a shop that offers incredible seminars throughout the year. Please check out their site (and ask to be included on the email list) @: http://eldredgeflyshop.com/ Thanks for viewing this YouTube fly tying tutorial; feel free to leave questions/comments directly on this page, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

82. Green Drake Parachute - The Green Drake Parachute is a great Western Green Drake Pattern. The Green Drake is a great large attractor pattern during the summer months in the West. Green Drake hatches can often be spotty and sparse at times, so having one tied on as an attractor is a great strategy. The Green Drake Parachute is a larger mayfly dry fly pattern. Making it a great choice for a novice fly tier. The Green Drake Parachute can also be tied on other colors such as Brown or Gray. These colors will imitate other types of Drakes, such as Brown and Gray Drakes. Really fun to tie! 83. DeFrank's Grim Reaper Variant - In this fly tying tutorial, I show the steps to tie a fantastic fly for steelhead, known as "DeFrank's Grim Reaper." Originally tied for the Great Lakes region (specifically tributaries of Lake Erie) and the steelhead within, this pattern is useful for a number of species, and is a "go-to" for many fly fishermen. I call this a variant because I have modified this pattern from its original design, which can be found: http://www.defranksflies.com/defranks-grim-reaper/. I believe that both patterns are effective, and challenge you to make any additional modifications to add to the pattern's ability to catch fish. Utilized in this tutorial are the S402BL hooks from Allen Fly Fishing. These are excellent hooks that can easily hold a steelhead, thus ones I recommend for this pattern. Feel free to check out these and more here: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/n212bl-nymph-streamer-2xl-barbless/ Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial for DeFrank's Grim Reaper "Variant." 84. Sparkle Minnow - Dustin is behind the vise tying one of his all-time favorite streamers; a variation of Coffey's Sparkle Minnow. It has been one of the most productive streamers in the Pacific Northwest or anywhere you like throwing big, flashy baitfish. This pattern has also proven its effectiveness on stillwaters. We've carried these flies in the shop before and they are absolutely deadly. This fly typically works on grey days, but it gets a lot of attention on sunny days as well. Either way, you should definitely include this pattern in your streamer arsenal. To capitalize on this pattern's effectiveness, you will need a dubbing brush tool. Today we're tying this fly in pearl and silver, but you can vary things up by trying gold and pearl, which is ideal for cutthroat. MATERIALS: • TMC #300 Streamer Hook - Size 2 • 1/4" Real Eyes in Nickle/Pearl • White & Gray Maribou • Tan UV Crystal Flash • Silver Ice Dub • Dubbing Brush Tool • .025 Lead Wire - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

87. Last Chance CDC Baetis Cripple - Rene Harrop's fly patterns were developed with an experienced eye for detail. Proven on the Henry's Fork, one of the most demanding trout fisheries in the country. The Last Chance Cripple series are great patterns for selective fish. 90. Prince Nymph - European Nymphing Jig Hook - Featured in this YouTube fly tying tutorial is a classic pattern with a modern twist: the Prince nymph tied on a jig hook for European and Czech-syle nymphing. By slightly modifying this fly, we end up with a "Guide Pattern," being that the fly has reduced materials, fewer procedures, and is effective at catching many fish. I recommend this pattern to all, especially if you are interested in European nymphing, including the Czech and French styles. Feel free to share any additional modifications you have to this great pattern. Featured in this video are the J100BL hooks from Allen Fly Fishing; check out these hooks and more at: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/j100bl-jig-nymph-barbless-thin-wire/ Additionally featured in this video is UNI-French Oval tinsel; please check out this great product and others at: http://www.uniproducts.com/eng/produits.asp Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial; feel free to leave any comments/questions on this YouTube page, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher
