142. Fly Fishing Colorado Small Creeks - Small Creek Fly Fishing is one of the most rewarding ways to fly fish. Fish in small creeks readily take flies and do so with voraciousness. Do not be fooled though, creek fish are very spooky and you must be stealthy to get close to your target. Small creeks are found throughout Colorado. Chances are if there is year round water in it and it is cold, there are trout in it. Trout in Colorado can be found in areas that people still think do not produce fish. Keep an open mind and do some exploring! - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

143. Reel Scream - Swinging flies with Spey rods for Steelhead. Filmed in the Pacific Northwest on the Cowlitz, Clackamas, Klickitat, South Umpqua, Washougal, and Wilson rivers. This is the fourth film by Water Work Films and Jeff Layton. Film footage is a collection of shots filmed during the 2012 fishing season. Most of the film is shot in "point of view" perspective, suggesting that the viewers perspective is the same as the protagonist's. Storyline of this film is about a patient/fly fishermen talking with a therapist about his addiction to fly fishing for Steelhead. Film is formatted in HD 1080p 30 frames/second. 16:9 widescreen. Available in DVD, and Blue-ray DVD. 31 Minutes Long. - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

144. Simple Yarn Crab Bodies - Fly Tying Tip - Simple Yarn Crab BodiesTying crab flies for bonefish and permit can often be intimidating for anglers because of the complexity of most patterns. One of my favorite crab pattern's is Cathy Beck's Fleeing Crab which we have used in the Bahamas and Belize for bones, permit, and even some baby tarpon. The body of this pattern is made from EP Fibers (antron works too) and they are typically tied in using a "figure 8" style technique which is good, but that technique tends to bind the fibers down of the previous clump of yarn. This technique that I show in the video I feel simplifies the process and makes the over quality of the body come out more consistent. This technique of tying yarn bodies on flies also works great on patterns like tarpon toads. 146. Guide's Day Off - What happens when a bunch of your guide buddies get a day off together? You start the engine, that's what. Watch what goes down when 5 guides, an 11 year old grom, and a fish junkie join forces to hijack their local trout stream for a day. All I know is that if I wasn't lucky enough to call these guys my friends, I'd sure as hell be paying them to take me fishing. 147. Two Tone Golden Stonefly - This easy Stonefly Pattern is perfect for imitating the Golden Stonefly Nymph before it hatches every year in most of my favorite trout streams. The Two Tone Golden Stone is easy to tie with very few materials. I often tie this stonefly nymph with a #6 or #4 bent shank hook. Weight is optional, but it helps to keep the fly down deep in the strike zone. This is one of my favorite flies to use on the Colorado River west of Glenwood Springs, CO. It is a constant producer of big rainbows and browns for my customers. I am confident that I can impress you with the fishing in the Colorado Rockies. Consider booking a fly fishing trip you will want more of, go to http://www.riplips.com for information and a way to sign up. Thanks for watching! ~ MT - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

150. Pintar PT Nymph - It’s a jig-style pattern, so it’ll ride up-side-down, and therefore not snagging on the bottom that much. Next to the “Simon Templer nymph” and “La Bomba” it has become my go-to fly for fast water. It’s a real killer! The CDC gives this fly something special under water. Also try some more color variations. Same fly, but with an olive abdomen has given me great results for grayling. You can fish it in a team of flies, as a point fly or middle dropper, but you can also fish it as a single fly. In Slovenia you have this fly as a single, because it is not allowed to fish with multiple flies. I’ve fished this fly mainly in a French/Czech nymphing setup, but you can also fish it the old fashion way, on a dead upstream drift. - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher
