33. Headcase Crayfish - Here is my latest articulated streamer that I concocted to represent an adult crayfish. The fly comes in at around 3-3-1/2 inches and is what I would call a moderately weighted pattern that can be fished in a multitude of ways and with a floating or sinking line. So far she has racked up several species including northern pike, brown and rainbow trout, small and large mouth bass and even striped bass in the salt. Seconds for a great juvenile lobster pattern. Currently I tie it in the crayfish orange, olive/blue and tan colors but feel free to experiment.Cast: Richard StrolisTags: crayfish patterns, crayfish fly, juvenile lobster fly, fly fishing, flytying, trout flies, bass flies, pike flies, streamers and articulated streamers - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

35. The Fish & The Fly 3 Terrestrials - This is dry fly fishing at its best. Terrestrials are land based insects - grasshoppers, beetles, Daddy Long Legs etc. Imitations of these insects are natural additions to any flybox and Morten Oeland shows why. We join him as he uses his fantastic imitations on a number of fishingtrips in Denmark, Greenland, Germany, New Zealand and Swedish Lapland. We follow him as he chooses his fly, tactic and fishing technique in every situation. The film is packed with fact and information about fishing the terrestrial. Morten is a skilled and experienced flytier. The second movie on the DVD is about the tying of the imitations he uses. He shows step by step how he ties his original, simple and highly innovative flies. This is an instructive movie, which is also full of great moments and exciting fishing situations. 37. Seeking Shelter - This is a short, one day video this past Sunday 5/18/14. I woke up with no intentions on fishing, but that changed quickly as my good friend Jason Fernandez called me up. He recently bought a Canoe and has only taken it out once. Due to the high winds we haven't been able to take it out together. We came up with the idea of fishing around noon, He got to my house and we started tying bunch of flies because we have no flies at all. We loaded up the Canoe and headed out. On the way to the Glades, I decided to call my friend Rich Jones, who is an awesome Kayak Guide in the Everglades, to see if he wanted to join us for the afternoon trip. You can check his stuff out at http://www.kayakfishingtheeverglades.com He quickly replied and decided to join us on our adventure. We knew the winds were gonna be hell but all we were looking for is some sheltered areas where can actually cast at some fish. I hope you guys like it. Enjoy. - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

39. The BC Needlefish - Trolling Bucktail style flies tied on tubes was very common during the glory days of ocean Silver Salmon recreational fisheries of the 1950s -- 1980s from Northern California through SE Alaska. Regions like Puget Sound and Vancouver Island spawned many versions of Coho Tube flies that had local followings and rationale for the selection of one pattern over another. Near as I can tell, fly anglers used these tube Bucktail flies to troll as well as cast to feeding Coho in saltwater. The various fly patterns are sometimes suggestive of a natural baitfish and sometimes just wild bright flashy fish strike attractors. This Tube Bucktail is a simple pattern inspired by several flies I have seen popularized by BC anglers specifically imitating big Needlefish. The Steve Farrar's Blend material is easy to work with, durable, and swims your fly true, without the worry of needing to select the perfect Bucktail hair.
