91. The River Keeper - 'The River Keeper' The chalk rivers of Hampshire are known among the angling fraternity across the globe as the birth place of fly fishing - a mere mention of the name 'Test' or 'Itchen' conjures up images of balmy summer evenings, heavy spinner falls and gluttonous trout rising freely ... But what happens after October? When the game season ends and the trout start to think about digging redds instead of sipping emergers? This is the time that the keepers are busiest, improving the beats, preparing for the following season. Behind closed doors a lot goes on however even river keepers have to stay sane and so imitative fly fishing remains. Targeting twenty pound pike on the fly is no mean feat at the best of times but it's in the dead of winter that we realise exactly who is keeping the balance in these historic waterways. - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

92. Yamamoto's FA Nymph - I can't emphasize the importance of nymph emergence during mayfly hatches and how intensely trout key on the stage. All of my literature review and observations at Livingston's spring creek support this theory. We are not talking about "misc nymph fly patterns fished under bobber". Rather, mayfly nymph as creature. Indeed fishing for this stage is as technical as dry-fly fishing for duns. FA stands for Floating & Ascending, meant to be fished in the film or slightly below during the hatch. Situation goes: trout are obviously rising but without breaking the surface. The matching dry-fly dun and its best presentation won't do a job. That's because trout are keying on ascending nymphs in the water column rather than making effort to feed on duns on the surface or in the air. That's when floating and ascending nymph patterns become key-players. 94. Holy Grail Nymph - During this fly tying tutorial for the Holy Grail nymph, I give a brief background on how I came across the pattern, followed by the materials and tying procedures. The Holy Grail, which I first came across on the Orvis website, is a no-nonsense pattern that can be utilized for both caddis and mayfly nymphs. It can easily be fished in a "dry-dropper" situation, and colors I recommend aside from this olive pattern include tan, brown, and black. If you decide to alter this pattern and find your variation more effective (or simply unique!), be sure to share in the comments section below.Featured in this fly tying tutorial are the N204BL hooks from Allen Fly Fishing; you can find these hooks and many others at the following link: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/n204bl-shrimp-caddis-scud-thin-wire-barbless/ Additionally featured in this fly tying tutorial is UNI-Mylar in the Holographic Chartreuse color. This material is another great one in the UNI line, and you can view information about their products at the following link: http://www.uniproducts.com Finally, this video featured the Stonfo Kaiman vise, which I have received a lot of comments about. I recommend this vise to all ranges of tyers, and you can find information regarding it at the following link: http://www.stonfo.it Thanks for viewing this YouTube fly tying tutorial on the Holy Grail Nymph; feel free to leave any comments/questions on this page, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

96. Turks and Caicos Bonefishing - An afternoon fish hunt aboard the bone collector. Sam's 7lb bonefish was the highlight. With a lemon shark seen moments earlier, we decided to focus on a safe release rather then digging out the video camera below deck. We hope to begin tagging these bonefish, to help better understand how often a released fish discharging pheromones will become lunch once in deeper water on the low tide. Satellite tags on mature bonefish is the next step in learning about these prehistory ghosts of the flats. On these particular conditions we had a full moon high tide and wind working together. With these conditions we were able to push a few miles into this relatively shallow canal. A spot that you can only fish a couple times a year. Long story short the fish were hungry and far from wary. - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

99. Red Worm - This fly is easy. Not all flies have to be advanced and difficult to tie. We were introduced to this pattern while fishing the Salzach river in Austria. In murky and fast waters trout and grayling need a notable fly. Chironomids are present in most of our waters, so it’s always a good all-round pattern. Usually we fish it with some split shots about 20-30cm’s away from the fly, or, when allowed, fish a very heavy nymph on the dropper. We use this fly on barbel as well. A very effective pattern! - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher
