111. Simms Shoot Out 2013 - Bent - Two days to film and one day to edit with the infamous Dan "Rooster" Leavens. All nighters, Monsters, numerous pots of coffee and the constant hum of computers and chargers running at full steam was our daily routine during the 2013 Simms SHOOT OUT film event. 114. Simple Yarn Crab Bodies - Fly Tying Tip - Simple Yarn Crab BodiesTying crab flies for bonefish and permit can often be intimidating for anglers because of the complexity of most patterns. One of my favorite crab pattern's is Cathy Beck's Fleeing Crab which we have used in the Bahamas and Belize for bones, permit, and even some baby tarpon. The body of this pattern is made from EP Fibers (antron works too) and they are typically tied in using a "figure 8" style technique which is good, but that technique tends to bind the fibers down of the previous clump of yarn. This technique that I show in the video I feel simplifies the process and makes the over quality of the body come out more consistent. This technique of tying yarn bodies on flies also works great on patterns like tarpon toads. 115. Grey Ghost bunny streamer - This fly comes from Flies that Catch Fish, but this version has dumbbell eyes to weigh it and keep the hook riding point up. I nicknamed it the grey ghost because of the grey bunny strip. It comes pretty close to imitating a striped finger mullet. I have caught redfish, spotted sea trout, snook, and flounder on this fly. It rarely fouls because the bunny strip is impaled on the hook. You can change the color of the bunny strip and flash to imitate your local baitfish. I use chartreuse and black barred olive versions too. - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

118. Holy Grail Nymph - During this fly tying tutorial for the Holy Grail nymph, I give a brief background on how I came across the pattern, followed by the materials and tying procedures. The Holy Grail, which I first came across on the Orvis website, is a no-nonsense pattern that can be utilized for both caddis and mayfly nymphs. It can easily be fished in a "dry-dropper" situation, and colors I recommend aside from this olive pattern include tan, brown, and black. If you decide to alter this pattern and find your variation more effective (or simply unique!), be sure to share in the comments section below.Featured in this fly tying tutorial are the N204BL hooks from Allen Fly Fishing; you can find these hooks and many others at the following link: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/n204bl-shrimp-caddis-scud-thin-wire-barbless/ Additionally featured in this fly tying tutorial is UNI-Mylar in the Holographic Chartreuse color. This material is another great one in the UNI line, and you can view information about their products at the following link: http://www.uniproducts.com Finally, this video featured the Stonfo Kaiman vise, which I have received a lot of comments about. I recommend this vise to all ranges of tyers, and you can find information regarding it at the following link: http://www.stonfo.it Thanks for viewing this YouTube fly tying tutorial on the Holy Grail Nymph; feel free to leave any comments/questions on this page, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

119. The Last Frontier - Our addiction to steelhead has once again led us to the mighty Situk River in Alaska. The river is home to the largest run of native steelhead left in the world. We hit the road at the end of April, when the peak of the run usually occurs. Conditions in the river were not looking good, with flow dropping as low as 35 CFS before we got there. Unusual mild temperatures and light rain scattered every few days didn't make our life easier. Notwithstanding, good fresh push of spring steelhead were coming in each day down at the lower end. We fished every single inch of the river for 10 consecutive days looking for huge wild steelhead. At the end, we bring home memories of lifetime trophy steelhead. Warning: fishing the Situk River and its beautiful wild steelhead can be addictive. Enjoy fly fishing responsibly. No copyright infringement intended. 120. Blue-Winged Olive (BWO) Parachute - In this fly tying tutorial, I discuss and explain the steps for a Blue-Winged Olive parachute dry fly, known affectionately to many as the "BWO." This is a great all-around pattern that catches fish throughout the season; the Baetis is a bug that is common to so many of our trout streams and the fish react accordingly. I also discuss the notion of this insect being "masked" by other mayflies, such as the sulfur/sulphur. This is a common tie for a parachute dry fly, and I encourage you to check out some of my other parachute patterns via my YouTube page. Featured in this tutorial is a hook by Allen Fly Fishing ( http://www.allenflyfishing.com/d102bl-dry-fly-wide-gape-barbless/ ); this is an excellent dry fly hook for this and other patterns. Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial; please feel free to leave any comments or questions directly on this YouTube page, or you can email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher
