116. Stimulator Dry Fly - During this fly tying tutorial, guest tyer Don Ward ties a favorite attractor dry fly, the Stimulator. Don, owner of Keystone Fly Rod Company, talks about his influences in building bamboo fly rods before going into detail about this pattern. Once tying, it's obvious that Don has an understanding of this pattern, being that he offers many tips on how to tie the Stimulator more effectively. The Stimulator is an attractor dry fly that can represent a stonefly, hopper, or even caddis. It is an effective fly that additionally encourages variations, as Don shows a few colors that he has had success with over the years. Another fun variation includes adding rubber legs; feel free to share other styles of this fly in the "Comments" section below. Thanks go out to Don Ward for the tying of this pattern. Don builds beautiful bamboo fly rods and has a net system that is simply better than the others out there right now. 119. Blue-Winged Olive (BWO) Parachute - In this fly tying tutorial, I discuss and explain the steps for a Blue-Winged Olive parachute dry fly, known affectionately to many as the "BWO." This is a great all-around pattern that catches fish throughout the season; the Baetis is a bug that is common to so many of our trout streams and the fish react accordingly. I also discuss the notion of this insect being "masked" by other mayflies, such as the sulfur/sulphur. This is a common tie for a parachute dry fly, and I encourage you to check out some of my other parachute patterns via my YouTube page. Featured in this tutorial is a hook by Allen Fly Fishing ( http://www.allenflyfishing.com/d102bl-dry-fly-wide-gape-barbless/ ); this is an excellent dry fly hook for this and other patterns. Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial; please feel free to leave any comments or questions directly on this YouTube page, or you can email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

120. Holy Grail Nymph - During this fly tying tutorial for the Holy Grail nymph, I give a brief background on how I came across the pattern, followed by the materials and tying procedures. The Holy Grail, which I first came across on the Orvis website, is a no-nonsense pattern that can be utilized for both caddis and mayfly nymphs. It can easily be fished in a "dry-dropper" situation, and colors I recommend aside from this olive pattern include tan, brown, and black. If you decide to alter this pattern and find your variation more effective (or simply unique!), be sure to share in the comments section below.Featured in this fly tying tutorial are the N204BL hooks from Allen Fly Fishing; you can find these hooks and many others at the following link: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/n204bl-shrimp-caddis-scud-thin-wire-barbless/ Additionally featured in this fly tying tutorial is UNI-Mylar in the Holographic Chartreuse color. This material is another great one in the UNI line, and you can view information about their products at the following link: http://www.uniproducts.com Finally, this video featured the Stonfo Kaiman vise, which I have received a lot of comments about. I recommend this vise to all ranges of tyers, and you can find information regarding it at the following link: http://www.stonfo.it Thanks for viewing this YouTube fly tying tutorial on the Holy Grail Nymph; feel free to leave any comments/questions on this page, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher
