21. Adams Dry Fly: Catskill-style - In this fly tying tutorial, I again welcome my favorite guest and mentor, Uncle John Cammisa. Tying for nearly 50 years, my great uncle has seen much in the world of fly tying, yet continues to return to the classics, hence this video of the Adams dry fly. Tying this pattern in the Catskill-style, my uncle takes us through the procedures for this fly that represents everything and nothing, and continues to take fish all over the world. Thanks for viewing this YouTube fly tying tutorial; feel free to leave any comments/questions on this site, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

22. Foam Wing PMD - This is one PMD Dry Fly you have got to see! The white post on this foam body, foam wing mayfly pattern is very easy to see because it floats and it is bright white. I have learned to use foam wing flies like this over many years of fishing with customers from the boat. If you can't see your dry fly, how can you set the hook when a trout eats it?! The mayfly hatch, especially the Pale Morning Dun Hatch in the Colorado Rockies is spectacular. If you would like to cast easy to see dry flies at hungry trout, go to http://www.riplips.com and book a float. - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

24. The Royal Trude and Variation - For this fly tying tutorial, I wanted to bring more light to a tradition pattern, the Royal Trude. Instead of simply describing and tying this fly, I focused on possible variations that a tyer would make to enhance the fly, bringing it up to more "modern-day" materials. The original pattern is a highly effective fly, being fished as a dry (attractor), wet fly. and streamer; the variation is able to be fished this way, too. Other common flies this pattern can represent include terrestrials, stoneflies, caddis, and drakes. Current versions of this fly are also well-known; the Lime Trude won a One-Fly contest, thus solidifying this pattern for years to come. Featured in this tutorial are D102BL dry fly hooks by Allen Fly Fishing (http://www.allenflyfishing.com/d102bl... these hooks are excellent for a variety of dry fly patterns. A second product featured is the cape by Clearwater Hackle (http://www.clearwaterhackle.com/capes/); this product is some of the best available on today's market. Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial for the Royal Trude and Variation; please leave and comments or questions on this YouTube page, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

25. Ava's Hi-Vis Parachute Adams - Ava's Hi-Vis Parachute Adams is one of the most versatile mayfly dry fly patterns that I fish. I am using an AFF D103BL hook (down-eye, 1X-Long, dry fly hook). Check them out at www.allenflyfishing.com. The super hair body creates a translucent abdomen and with great segmentation. The McFlyLon post allows the fly to be seen in most fishing conditions. I use Dark Barred Ginger rooster cape hackle, I really like the color of the hackle and it elevates the need to use brown/grizzly hackle. The parachute style can resemble an emerging, dun and or spinner mayfly. I have used this pattern on many different types of mayfly hatches and have had success. So bust out your materials and get tying. To view RK's Fly Design complete fly collection Visit www.facebook.com/RKsFlyDesign - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

26. The Humpy Dry Fly - Featured in this fly tying tutorial is a pattern that I love to fish, the Humpy dry fly. This is a great attractor fly that trout really seem to love, especially when fishing it in faster currents. I was fortunate enough to have my Uncle John Cammisa tie the pattern on this video, and this is a special treat, being that he has been tying for over half of his life (age 82 in this video!). The tying of this pattern is not the simplest, thus I frequently will "commission" one of my favorite tyers (my Uncle John) for some of these flies. During this tutorial, my uncle goes into great detail and leads you through the required procedures to make the tying of this pattern much easier. To begin the video, I conduct a brief interview of my uncle, which then leads into an examination of a finished Humpy. This is followed by the tutorial, which my uncle concludes the fly for the camera, but still wanted to clean-up the finished product. After he cut away some fibers that were out of place, I took one final picture so all viewers can see what the finished fly looked like. Thanks go out to my uncle for agreeing to tie this pattern; he is a fantastic craftsman and has been one of my greatest fly tying mentors throughout my life. Thank you for viewing this tutorial, and please feel free to leave any comments/questions on this YouTube page, or you can email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

27. Blue-Winged Olive (BWO) Parachute - In this fly tying tutorial, I discuss and explain the steps for a Blue-Winged Olive parachute dry fly, known affectionately to many as the "BWO." This is a great all-around pattern that catches fish throughout the season; the Baetis is a bug that is common to so many of our trout streams and the fish react accordingly. I also discuss the notion of this insect being "masked" by other mayflies, such as the sulfur/sulphur. This is a common tie for a parachute dry fly, and I encourage you to check out some of my other parachute patterns via my YouTube page. Featured in this tutorial is a hook by Allen Fly Fishing ( http://www.allenflyfishing.com/d102bl-dry-fly-wide-gape-barbless/ ); this is an excellent dry fly hook for this and other patterns. Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial; please feel free to leave any comments or questions directly on this YouTube page, or you can email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

28. RS2 - An RS2 is a must have in any anglers fly box. This mayfly emerger pattern is one of the most versatile and effective flies to fish. I am going be tying the RS2 on an Allen Fly Fishing D103S hook between the sizes of 16 through 20. This particular dry fly hook has a straight eye, 1X--long shank and thin wire. This hook is new to the Allen Fly Fishing hook line up and will soon be one of my favorites, show check them out by visiting www.allenflyfishing.com This fly can be tied in many different colors to match the hatch in your local area. Try using PMD, Brown/Olive, Black Superfine Dubbing. I generally will use the light dun microfibetts and bright white antron on all color variations. The most effective way to fish this pattern is to fish it in the surface film or slightly below it. At the end of the dead drift raise your rod tip slightly, the fly will move towards the surface imitating an emerging may fly. 30. New Zealand 2013: A Dry Fly Short - In early 2013 two anglers ventured to New Zealand with some intrepidation following extensive flooding over the New Year period. In the face of large scale flood damage and doubt they found some spectacular dry fly action. Over the course of two months only a handful of fish were caught on nymphs and streamers, the rest fell to large terrestrials. Fly fishing for trout at its absolute best.
