82. Tube Flies: Part 4 - During Part 4 of my series on "Tube Flies," I discuss the articles that originally got me interested in this style of fly tying based on its simplicity. Next, I give a brief overview of both "Head" and "Tail" sections, and tie a Zonker-style fly that is perfect for use whether you are fly fishing saltwater or freshwater. This is one of my favorite videos on Tube Flies because, once understood, the sections can be combined to make standard patterns longer (i.e. Deceiver, Intruder, Clouser, Zonker, Woolly Bugger) or a combination of the heads from those classics, with a variety of tail sections. As I keep saying, the possibilities are endless! As mentioned in this series, please be sure to comment on this page if you have any ideas regarding tube flies. This niche of fly tying can be overwhelming at first, but with a little time, it is definitely an area that can be both manageable and effective. Thanks for viewing this YouTube fly tying tutorial, and I encourage you to view my additional videos at the following website: http://www.troutandfeather.com Feel free to leave any questions/comments on this YouTube page, or you can email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

84. Black Stimulator - Adult Stonefly - A fly tying video showing how to tie a Black Stimulator. This attractor dry fly works well as an Adult Stonefly imitation. This Stimulator Pattern includes foam for the under body of the fly. Foam body dry flies are durable, easy to tie and they float better than most other dry flies. In Colorado, stoneflies begin to hatch during runoff in the Spring and continue hatching through the month of September. Fishing with Stimulator Patterns is a great way to catch a lot of fish. If you would like to take a float trip and cast big dry flies up to the bank, the fly fishing near Aspen, CO is as good as it gets. 85. The Fish & The Fly 4, Streamers - Again we join Morten Oeland on fishing trips in different locations. We fish in high mountain lakes and saltwater along the open shore. The movie is about streamers and surface flies. We see the prey the streamers imitate and the different techniques Morten uses when fishing the flies. Underwater cameras have provided stunning photography of trout taking the streamers and they have documented the trout's reactions to the streamers. Up close and under water! Morten is well known for his innovative fly tying techniques, which are both simple and effective. In the fly tying movie Morten shows excatly how he ties his streamers and surface flies. Most of them are his own effective patterns. This is a movie you have to watch over and over again. It is very instructive, and it shows new techniques. But it is also a movie with beautiful scenery, fishing actions and big trout.
