51. Immortal - This tying video was put together for the Revive Fly Fishing online magazine (reviveflyfishing.com). I was asked to come up with a fly using a Misfit Halo Head (misfitfly.com). I used the large Misfit Halo Head and combined it with a Deceiver type fly. The girth of the head pushes water over the body giving the schlappen and grizzly hackles (and the whole fly) a ton of movement. This is a good size fly that could be used for pike or hunting big trout. Materials in order from back to front. Rear Hook: Daiichi 2461 2/0 Grizzly Schlappen Bucktail Grizzly Hackle Flashaboo UV Polar Chenille Lateral Scale Bucktail Articulated flies using Beadalon 19 strand wire. 53. Ultra Violet Baetis - An epoxy back mayfly nymph imitation. The flashback on this nymph is made from Hareline Dubbin's Purple Haze Holographic Fibers. An excellent nymph to imitate Baetis mayflies. Tie in sizes 16-20. I used Clear Cure Goo for the epoxy back. After experimenting with CCG I discovered that the extra fine accessory tips are a must for applying the small amounts needed for epoxy backs on small nymphs. - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

55. Skullp-Zilla Streamer - The Scullpzilla Streamer from Solitude Flies has tons of movement in the water and it drives brown trout crazy. This has been one of our most effective streamers over the past two seasons. This video shows how to tie a version of this streamer with a Fish Skull head. The two hooks are joined by a section of fly line backing or by braided fishing line. Our favorite colors are white or barred tan. The version in this video uses a size 8 Gamakatsu octopus stinger hook and a size 6 front hook. This works well for a fly 3 in length. For longer flies use a 4 or 6 stinger hook and a size 4 front hook. Use a small fish scull for the smaller flies, and a medium for larger flies. - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

59. REEL Trailer - For many, the Upper Delaware and Catskill region is a refuge from the hectic pace of life in the working world. For anglers especially, it is an opportunity to fully immerse mind, body and spirit in the unique rhythms of the river system. The elemental act of angling enables this escape in a way nothing else can. “Reel: A Day on the River,” is an inspirational film about the tradition and culture of fly-fishing in the East. It highlights the responsibility we have to protect resources like the Upper Delaware River for future generations. Set against the backdrop of the western Catskills, the film invites viewers to float the West Branch of the Upper Delaware with professional guides Joe Demalderis , Jim “Coz” Costolnick, and Ryan Furtak. These men provide their unique insight into the fishery; it’s vast array of aquatic life, and their intense respect for the landscape and local community. Photographers Monty Milburn and Brent Taylor have executed several still-photography projects documenting the streams and surroundings of their favorite fly-fishing spots. “Reel” was born in the late spring of 2011 when they decided to create a short film. - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher
