66. Articulated Fly Tutorial - Rattles up! - This pattern is based off of Kelly Galloup's Tips-up with a few twists. The coolest innovation in this fly is the rattle in the tail. Here in the Wild Angling lab we wanted to get rattles in the fly without the huge bulk of tying it on the shank. So we came up with hiding it in the tail! Definitely gonna be adding more large rattles in other patterns with this style. Check out the video and let us know what you think!! Material List: Hooks- Tiemco 8089 #6 (Gama B10's in size #1 would work good) Blood Quill Marabou- Pearl Gray Flashabou- Silver Wapsi Perfect Popper- #8 Schlappen- White Estaz Chenille- Pearl Rubber Legs- White Mallard Flank Feather Senyo's Laser Dub- White, Silver Minnow Belly Hook Connection- Beadalon 19 strand 0.018" wire - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

68. Iced Pupa - Wine - This is one of the most effective midge patterns that I fish in the winter and early spring. I've had success with this fly on the Colorado, Frying Pan, Roaring Fork, Gunnison and Uncomphagre rivers within the last few years. I generally fish this pattern as the "end" fly on a tandem rigging set-up. I will use a heavy tungsten fly such as a "UV Ice Prince" or "Wired UV Stone" as my lead fly. This will insure that my fly reaches the bottom fast for an optimal drift as well as attracts fish that are looking for a "hearty" meal. So tie up some of these midges and see for yourself how successful they can be. 69. Blue-Winged Olive (BWO) Parachute - In this fly tying tutorial, I discuss and explain the steps for a Blue-Winged Olive parachute dry fly, known affectionately to many as the "BWO." This is a great all-around pattern that catches fish throughout the season; the Baetis is a bug that is common to so many of our trout streams and the fish react accordingly. I also discuss the notion of this insect being "masked" by other mayflies, such as the sulfur/sulphur. This is a common tie for a parachute dry fly, and I encourage you to check out some of my other parachute patterns via my YouTube page. Featured in this tutorial is a hook by Allen Fly Fishing ( http://www.allenflyfishing.com/d102bl-dry-fly-wide-gape-barbless/ ); this is an excellent dry fly hook for this and other patterns. Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial; please feel free to leave any comments or questions directly on this YouTube page, or you can email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

70. Estuary Bend-back Minnow - The Chinook Bendback is a fly style that has been popularized in saltwater and estuarine waters where anglers fish flies in shallow waters where weeds and muck could easily foul hooks on traditional patterns. The process of bending the hook is crucial because it will impact the ability to hook a fish when it takes the fly. Make sure that the hook point is above the plane of the new axis of the hook eye. Using a Mustad 3407 saltwater hook is a good idea because the hook has a great balance of toughness and retains modest pliability. I have had great success fishing this hook and think you will too if you give it a go. You will need to sharpen this hook, but you can re-sharpen it too.
