131. Partridge and Orange Soft Hackle - In this fly tying tutorial, I share another version of the venerable "Partridge and Orange," one of my favorite soft hackle flies. This is a traditional pattern that continues to have a place in many of our fly boxes, and for good reason. Prior to this video, I participated in a wet fly swap, and decided on this pattern to share. This fly can represent various insects, most notably caddis and sulfur flies. I prefer to fish the fly in the surface film, though I go over other techniques in the video. If you tie this pattern in other variations, please consider sharing those on this YouTube page. Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial; feel free to leave any questions/comments on this YouTube page, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

134. Open water Chinook Clouser Minnow - This Saltwater Clouser fly fishes well in the both open ocean and estuaries. The texture of the Electric Yellow fibers are not as pleasing to my likes as most of the Steve Farrar's Blends, but it is bright and I use in sparingly to spice up this fly. I have tied Clousers in diverse sizes, materials, & colors, and the Clouser is among a handful of fly styles that merits the attention of most fly tyers and fly anglers. Granted, a 3" Clouser would not be my first choice when fishing over Spring Creek Trout when they are keying on # 20 Mayfly Spinners. Still, I love the Clouser. If you are familiar with the fly, you already get it. If not, I encourage you to begin working on your Clouser tying and fishing skills. 136. Blue-Winged Olive (BWO) Parachute - In this fly tying tutorial, I discuss and explain the steps for a Blue-Winged Olive parachute dry fly, known affectionately to many as the "BWO." This is a great all-around pattern that catches fish throughout the season; the Baetis is a bug that is common to so many of our trout streams and the fish react accordingly. I also discuss the notion of this insect being "masked" by other mayflies, such as the sulfur/sulphur. This is a common tie for a parachute dry fly, and I encourage you to check out some of my other parachute patterns via my YouTube page. Featured in this tutorial is a hook by Allen Fly Fishing ( http://www.allenflyfishing.com/d102bl-dry-fly-wide-gape-barbless/ ); this is an excellent dry fly hook for this and other patterns. 137. Clouser Deep Minnow - For this fly tying tutorial, I share a pattern that needs little introduction, Bob Clouser's famous fly, the Clouser Deep Minnow. This is a "go-to" for most fly fisherman, and with good reason: It catches fish! I share a few tips to employ when tying this pattern, plus various pieces of information I learned from Mr. Clouser during his demonstrations. Featured in this tutorial are saltwater hooks from Allen Fly Fishing; I recommend these due to the fact that even if you fish freshwater, when the opportunity to fish saltwater arises, you will have flies ready to go. These hooks can be found at the following link: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/sw002-saltwater/ Thanks for viewing this tutorial; feel free to leave comments/questions on this page, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

139. Cinnamon Toast Ant - The Cinnamon Toast Ant is a very easy tie and a productive terrestrial pattern for the summer and fall months. I am using an AFF D102BL hook (down-eye, standard shank, wide gap dry fly hook). Again, Allen Fly Fishing continues to create excellent hooks at an excellent price. Check them out at www.allenflyfishing.com. Present this pattern to cruising fish around the banks of your local rivers or lakes. 140. Clown Shoe Caddis - For this fly tying tutorial, I chose to tie the Clown Shoe Caddis (aka Boulder Creek Caddis), a pattern representing the emerging caddis. This pattern, created by Jay Zimmerman, gives you some flexibility when fishing, being that you can hang droppers off of the hook bend, keep the fly floating on the surface, or allow the abdomen to sit in the water. This is an intermediate pattern, plus there are opportunities for variations when tying, as described in the video. Also featured are hooks from Allen Fly Fishing (http://www.allenflyfishing.com/n203bl/), the N203BL Shrimp/Caddis hooks, which are perfect for this pattern.
