81. RS2 - An RS2 is a must have in any anglers fly box. This mayfly emerger pattern is one of the most versatile and effective flies to fish. I am going be tying the RS2 on an Allen Fly Fishing D103S hook between the sizes of 16 through 20. This particular dry fly hook has a straight eye, 1X--long shank and thin wire. This hook is new to the Allen Fly Fishing hook line up and will soon be one of my favorites, show check them out by visiting www.allenflyfishing.com This fly can be tied in many different colors to match the hatch in your local area. Try using PMD, Brown/Olive, Black Superfine Dubbing. I generally will use the light dun microfibetts and bright white antron on all color variations. The most effective way to fish this pattern is to fish it in the surface film or slightly below it. At the end of the dead drift raise your rod tip slightly, the fly will move towards the surface imitating an emerging may fly. 82. Charlie Craven's Two Bit Hooker nymph - During this fly tying tutorial, I demonstrate the procedures to tie a slight variation of Charlie Craven's "Two Bit Hooker" nymph. This heavy mayfly nymph is intended to get to the bottom of the water column quickly, being that it is tied with two tungsten beads. The fly is a simple one to tie, and I encourage all to vary the colors and size to match the natural insects in your area. In this tutorial, I used olive thread, dubbing, and hen hackle, all to match the Blue Wing Olive (BWO) nymph. A quick change of those will allow you to match the majority of other mayfly nymphs found in our streams. Featured in this fly tying tutorial are the W501BL hooks by Allen Fly Fishing. These nymph hooks are 2x heavy and 1x long, which is perfect for this fly and many other nymphs. Check out those hooks and more here: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/w501bl-wet-fly-nymph-1xl-barbless/ Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial for Charlie Craven's "Two Bit Hooker" nymph. In this part, I discuss some updates in regards to materials, and then go through the setup for tying using the HMH Tube Fly Tool and Rigid Tubes. The fly tied is a Woolly Bugger, intended to show that a variety of patterns can be created when tying tube flies. If you are experienced in this style of tying, please be sure to mention your own thoughts, techniques, and tips in the "Comments" section below. As explained in the first video and reinforced in this one, there are no rules when tying tube flies. Be creative and think outside the box; your biggest critic will be the fish! 86. Tying Dry Fly Tails with Microfibetts - During this tutorial, I explain three techniques for utilizing microfibetts when tying dry flies. There are other options available for adding tailing fibers, yet these three are all quick and easy, plus help to imitate the natural adult stage of the mayfly. After tying the tailing fibers in, continue to finish the fly with either dubbing, herl, quill, etc. I prefer the use of microfibett tailing fibers with finicky trout, especially when I want to ensure the fibers will closely represent the natural insect while maintaining buoyancy for the pattern. Thanks again for viewing, and feel free to leave any comments on this site or email: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

88. Napoleon's Dynamite nymph - Featured in this fly tying tutorial is a pattern that is popular among the Czech/Euro nymphing crowd, Napoleon's Dynamite. This is a fly that features weight, a slender body, and a couple hot spots. Combined with those characteristics are some great colors, and we have a pattern that catches lots of fish. The hot spot can be as a tag or collar, with the former being more effective in areas that receive lots of fishing pressure. Feel free to modify this pattern to meet the needs of your fishing, and I recommend starting by substituting other fluorescent colors. Featured in this tutorial are the J100BL jig hooks from Allen Fly Fishing; check out these hooks and other fly fishing supplies here: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/ Also featured in this video are tungsten slotted disco beads from Rip Lips Fishing. These are great beads, and I encourage you to check out these and all of the other varieties here: http://www.riplipsfishing.com/ Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial of Napoleon's Dynamite. 90. RK's UV Chironomid - RK's UV Chironomid makes you think outside of the box when tying a midge pattern. This pattern closely resembles Rick Takahashi's Mini Bow Tie Buzzer, but in a larger chironomid version for lake fishing. I am using an AFF N304 hook (straight-eye, 2x-short, 3x-wide scud/emerger hook. Check them out at www.allenflyfishing.com. The best thing about this fly is how it looks under water. The UV Clear Fly Finish coating provides the fly with a brilliant shine and depth to the fly. While the Mirage Opal Tinsel gives off a large array of colors. The overall profile and depth that this fly has truly makes this a fun fly to fish and tie.
