81. Go2 Emerger - There is a reason why I call this pattern Go2 Emerger..... enough said. The great thing about this pattern is that it so versatile. It has proven to be successful in all levels of the water column; you just need to find were the fish are feeding. The Go2 midge in black has been the most productive for me. It works extremely well during small midge and trico hatches. I now some of you are saying "midges don't have a tail", I know, but somehow the fish can't stop eating this fly. I also tie this pattern with a light cahill thread to mimic a PMD or Light Cahill, as well as an olive brown thread to mimic a Blue Winged Olive. Tie some of them up and see for yourself. The Go2 Emerger is tied on an AFF N304 (straight-eye, 2x - short, reversed bend hook). This is my favorite hook that Allen Fly Fishing produces. It's thin wire and perfect reversed bend makes it a superior emerger hook. Check out their full line of hooks and beads by visiting www.allenflyfishing.com. 82. The Last Frontier - Our addiction to steelhead has once again led us to the mighty Situk River in Alaska. The river is home to the largest run of native steelhead left in the world. We hit the road at the end of April, when the peak of the run usually occurs. Conditions in the river were not looking good, with flow dropping as low as 35 CFS before we got there. Unusual mild temperatures and light rain scattered every few days didn't make our life easier. Notwithstanding, good fresh push of spring steelhead were coming in each day down at the lower end. We fished every single inch of the river for 10 consecutive days looking for huge wild steelhead. At the end, we bring home memories of lifetime trophy steelhead. Warning: fishing the Situk River and its beautiful wild steelhead can be addictive. Enjoy fly fishing responsibly. No copyright infringement intended. 89. Dyret - The Animal - My favourite dry fly tied my way. Gunnar Bingen from Norway is the creator of this fantastic pattern. The original is with deer hair and antron yarn, but i have made some changes. My version of Dyret is a killer fly for northern Grayling. The colours can be variated in many ways, but popular colours is olive and light brown. Hackle is long compared to many other similar flies. Normal hook sizes is 10-16. Good luck with this killer fly!!! - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher
