91. Coho Salmon Bucktail Trolling Fly - Trolling Bucktail style flies for Coho Salmon is an art that has come out of practice here off the Oregon coast since both wild and hatchery silver salmon runs tanked in the 1990s. Improved regulation of ocean fisheries and better survival conditions have resulted in some fairly robust runs of wild Silvers in most Oregon coastal rivers. Although the reasons for the improved runs and the health of the individual populations remain subject to debate, anglers in the ocean offshore Oregon now often find that regulations permit fishing for hatchery and/or wild Coho, albeit the regs sometimes only permit retaining fish on a few days per week and usually require use of de-barbed hooks. 93. Capercaillie Sculpin - Hook: Kamasan B840 or Partridge JS11 Thread: 8/0 UniThread, white Cone: Silver conehead in the appropriate size Tails: Partridge flank feather barbs Body: Austrailian Opossom, natural Body hackles: Partridge flank feather Front hackle: Capercaillie body feather One of my goto patterns for seatrout on the coasts and bays of Djursland, Denmark. Very easy fly to tie, that fishes well all year around. If you tie the fly to the tippet with a small rapala loop, the fly has an awesome motion in the water. Looks almost like a small sculpin. You can tie them in any size you'd like, but I prefer them large - large as in size 2 or larger. The best hooks for this kind of fly, in my opinion, are the hooks with a large hook gape. I find the TMC 811S and Mustad 34007 to have too small of a hook gape for this kind of pattern. I only used the capercaillie to make a fly that sticks out, and to the best of my knowledge, I don't think there's a saltwater pattern for seatrout that uses these feathers. You can use whatever front hackle you'd like or have available. - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

96. Seeking Shelter - This is a short, one day video this past Sunday 5/18/14. I woke up with no intentions on fishing, but that changed quickly as my good friend Jason Fernandez called me up. He recently bought a Canoe and has only taken it out once. Due to the high winds we haven't been able to take it out together. We came up with the idea of fishing around noon, He got to my house and we started tying bunch of flies because we have no flies at all. We loaded up the Canoe and headed out. On the way to the Glades, I decided to call my friend Rich Jones, who is an awesome Kayak Guide in the Everglades, to see if he wanted to join us for the afternoon trip. You can check his stuff out at http://www.kayakfishingtheeverglades.com He quickly replied and decided to join us on our adventure. We knew the winds were gonna be hell but all we were looking for is some sheltered areas where can actually cast at some fish. I hope you guys like it. Enjoy. - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

97. FIRST - Mosquito Lagoon - Traveled down south to the mosquito lagoon with a couple friends to try it out for the first time. With only fly rods on board we were set to catch our first redfish out of the area. The morning started off great with colton landing the first one floating along the bank. As the day progressed we knocked out a few trailers and had some insane topwater fly eats. Although most of it went unfilmed we still managed to get a few good clips. So stoked this last minute day trip came together. Can't wait until next time boys! edited by Wes Davis Song by Flume - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

Very effective at high water, due to it's tungsten bead/lead weight giving it a quick decent. 99. Recapture - a fly fishing film - Recapture shows the importance of Fly Fishing not only as a sport, but also as priceless way to facilitate connections; connections to our environment, each other, and the fish we spend countless hours pursuing. It’s funny; when I look back at my formative years I realize the time we are connected to the fish represent a small drop in the bucket of time. It’s not the fish, but the intricate web of connections to all facets of life in the social and environmental spectrum that occupies the majority of our time fishing. That’s what keeps us coming back for more. In the grand scheme of things, it’s the sights and sounds of our favorite fishery, the friendships, and the community that endures long after a day on the river is over, or the last grain of salt has been washed from our fingertips. Maybe it’s the thought of the pull that gets us out there initially, but it’s the people and places that make the memory. - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher
