31. Bead Head Crystal Soft Hackle - For this tutorial, a pattern the pattern I chose to tie was the Bead Head Crystal Soft Hackle. This is an intermediate pattern, with the "crystal" section of its name deriving from the type of synthetic material used in the body. Feel free to substitute other colors, which do not have to be of the "crystal" variety. Thanks for viewing this pattern, and feel free to leave any comments on this YouTube page or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

37. Aarø shrimp - How to tie the Aarø Shrimp. My best salt water pattern - imitates comon shrimps (Crangon crangon) and Baltic Shrimp (Palaemon adspersus). A fine pattern for seatrout (searun browns) and other saltwater fish. John Kent popped by the fly shop at Robinson's this past weekend to demo some of his favourite stillwater patterns. 39. Simi Seal Leech - Leech patterns are favorites among stillwater fishing specialists, and this pattern tends to be a common "go-to" for many. The Simi Seal Leech, created by John Rohmer, is a great fly tying pattern for everyone due to its relative ease. Variations are absolutely possible and encouraged, hence one of the reasons I tie this pattern in white to represent minnows in local waters. The hook used in this tutorial is the Allen Fly Fishing S402BL, a great barbless hook that is 2xl, perfect for streamers and longer nymphs. They can be found online: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/n212bl-nymph-streamer-2xl-barbless/ Thanks for viewing this ly tying tutorial; feel free to leave comments and/or questions on this YouTube page or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

40. The Royal Trude and Variation - For this fly tying tutorial, I wanted to bring more light to a tradition pattern, the Royal Trude. Instead of simply describing and tying this fly, I focused on possible variations that a tyer would make to enhance the fly, bringing it up to more "modern-day" materials. The original pattern is a highly effective fly, being fished as a dry (attractor), wet fly. and streamer; the variation is able to be fished this way, too. Other common flies this pattern can represent include terrestrials, stoneflies, caddis, and drakes. Current versions of this fly are also well-known; the Lime Trude won a One-Fly contest, thus solidifying this pattern for years to come. Featured in this tutorial are D102BL dry fly hooks by Allen Fly Fishing (http://www.allenflyfishing.com/d102bl... these hooks are excellent for a variety of dry fly patterns. A second product featured is the cape by Clearwater Hackle (http://www.clearwaterhackle.com/capes/); this product is some of the best available on today's market. Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial for the Royal Trude and Variation; please leave and comments or questions on this YouTube page, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher
