81. Two Tone Spinner Fly - This nymph pattern imitates a sunken Mayfly Spinner. I like to use this pattern throughout the Summer and Fall during the PMD Hatch. Yellow and Red on this great bead head nymph make it irresistible to trout in the Colorado Rockies. I like to use a stout saddle hackle on this fly because I believe it helps keep it from hanging up on the bottom. If you would like to catch a bunch of fish on spinners and other mayfly patterns, contact Capt. Matt at http://www.riplips.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

82. John Anderson's Bird of Prey caddis - For this fly tying tutorial, I chose a pattern that represents a caddis pupa and emerger, John Anderson's Bird of Prey Caddis. This fly consists of just a few simple materials, but as you'll see, all of them are considered some of the best to use in fly tying. I do vary this pattern slightly from the original, but kept the most critical components to ensure its effectiveness. I recommend this pattern for intermediate fly tyers, though those at an "upper beginner" level will be able to complete this fly with a little practice. Featured in this tutorial are the N204/N204BL hooks from Allen Fly Fishing (http://www.allenflyfishing.com/n204bl-shrimp-caddis-scud-thin-wire-barbless/); I explain a reason why I like this 2x-short hook in the video. Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial; feel free to leave any questions or comments directly on this YouTube page or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

83. Capercaillie Sculpin - Hook: Kamasan B840 or Partridge JS11 Thread: 8/0 UniThread, white Cone: Silver conehead in the appropriate size Tails: Partridge flank feather barbs Body: Austrailian Opossom, natural Body hackles: Partridge flank feather Front hackle: Capercaillie body feather One of my goto patterns for seatrout on the coasts and bays of Djursland, Denmark. Very easy fly to tie, that fishes well all year around. If you tie the fly to the tippet with a small rapala loop, the fly has an awesome motion in the water. Looks almost like a small sculpin. You can tie them in any size you'd like, but I prefer them large - large as in size 2 or larger. The best hooks for this kind of fly, in my opinion, are the hooks with a large hook gape. I find the TMC 811S and Mustad 34007 to have too small of a hook gape for this kind of pattern. I only used the capercaillie to make a fly that sticks out, and to the best of my knowledge, I don't think there's a saltwater pattern for seatrout that uses these feathers. You can use whatever front hackle you'd like or have available. - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

85. DeFrank's Grim Reaper Variant - In this fly tying tutorial, I show the steps to tie a fantastic fly for steelhead, known as "DeFrank's Grim Reaper." Originally tied for the Great Lakes region (specifically tributaries of Lake Erie) and the steelhead within, this pattern is useful for a number of species, and is a "go-to" for many fly fishermen. I call this a variant because I have modified this pattern from its original design, which can be found: http://www.defranksflies.com/defranks-grim-reaper/. I believe that both patterns are effective, and challenge you to make any additional modifications to add to the pattern's ability to catch fish. Utilized in this tutorial are the S402BL hooks from Allen Fly Fishing. These are excellent hooks that can easily hold a steelhead, thus ones I recommend for this pattern. Feel free to check out these and more here: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/n212bl-nymph-streamer-2xl-barbless/ Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial for DeFrank's Grim Reaper "Variant." 86. Red Worm - This fly is easy. Not all flies have to be advanced and difficult to tie. We were introduced to this pattern while fishing the Salzach river in Austria. In murky and fast waters trout and grayling need a notable fly. Chironomids are present in most of our waters, so it’s always a good all-round pattern. Usually we fish it with some split shots about 20-30cm’s away from the fly, or, when allowed, fish a very heavy nymph on the dropper. We use this fly on barbel as well. A very effective pattern! - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

87. Headcase Crayfish - Here is my latest articulated streamer that I concocted to represent an adult crayfish. The fly comes in at around 3-3-1/2 inches and is what I would call a moderately weighted pattern that can be fished in a multitude of ways and with a floating or sinking line. So far she has racked up several species including northern pike, brown and rainbow trout, small and large mouth bass and even striped bass in the salt. Seconds for a great juvenile lobster pattern. Currently I tie it in the crayfish orange, olive/blue and tan colors but feel free to experiment.Cast: Richard StrolisTags: crayfish patterns, crayfish fly, juvenile lobster fly, fly fishing, flytying, trout flies, bass flies, pike flies, streamers and articulated streamers - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

88. Caddis Larva Bead Head - In this brief fly tying video, I showcase a durable and effective pattern for trout, the caddis larva. Tied as a bead head (though I show one sans bead @ the end), this pattern will get down to the fish quickly, while the picked-out dubbing does a great job representing the gills and legs of the natural insect. Be sure to tie this pattern in colors that match the larva in waters you fish, and don't be afraid to try a few with a hot spot. Thanks for viewing this tutorial, and feel free to leave comments/questions on this site, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

89. Trout in plain sight - During the past summer months of January, February and March I have been shooting a documentary about fly fishing in Chilean Patagonia and The Patagonian BaseCamp Lodge. Equipped with my camera and a couple of lenses I have been on the water with their guides and anglers for 42 days. Paco Paquerro, a well known Chilean musician, wrote music exclusively for the movie. The full documentary will be released in 3 weeks on YouTube and Vimeo.
