71. Fly Tying Variations - During this tutorial, I go through the tying of the Prince nymph pattern, with the focus on my thought process when making variations to the original pattern. As an experienced fly tyer, making variations is something I complete with ease, but I understand that those with less experience are interested in why certain decisions are made when tying. Throughout this tutorial, the areas to vary include beads, weight, tails, ribbing, body material, hackle/legs, and the stingers. There is also time spent discussing hot spots @ the front of the pattern. Thanks for viewing this YouTube fly tying tutorial on variations; feel free to leave a comment/question on this YouTube page, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

72. Utah Killer Bug - In this fly tying tutorial, I wanted to share a fly given to me by my buddy Tom, the Utah Killer Bug. This fly can represent a myriad of insects depending on how you tie it. From the crane fly larva to scud, this pattern tied in a nondescript color seems to simply look like a bug (especially when it's wet!). There are a couple variations shown at the end, plus you can always make this pattern into a soft hackle, which can then touch on the caddis spectrum. Tom, thanks for sharing this pattern! Mentioned in the introduction of this video was a shout-out to the Eldredge Brothers Fly Shop; this is a shop that offers incredible seminars throughout the year. Please check out their site (and ask to be included on the email list) @: http://eldredgeflyshop.com/ Thanks for viewing this YouTube fly tying tutorial; feel free to leave questions/comments directly on this page, or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

73. Fripple, Green Drake version - This larger Green Drake version of the Fripple has been an incredible fly pattern this year. Based on the very effective Fripple 2.0 pattern, it's butt hangs low and the bulk of the pattern floats on/in the surface film. We've had incredible success with it, so give it a try! - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

74. Headcase Crayfish - Here is my latest articulated streamer that I concocted to represent an adult crayfish. The fly comes in at around 3-3-1/2 inches and is what I would call a moderately weighted pattern that can be fished in a multitude of ways and with a floating or sinking line. So far she has racked up several species including northern pike, brown and rainbow trout, small and large mouth bass and even striped bass in the salt. Seconds for a great juvenile lobster pattern. Currently I tie it in the crayfish orange, olive/blue and tan colors but feel free to experiment.Cast: Richard StrolisTags: crayfish patterns, crayfish fly, juvenile lobster fly, fly fishing, flytying, trout flies, bass flies, pike flies, streamers and articulated streamers - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

76. October Caddis Pupa - Dustin's October Caddis Pupa fly pattern is a great fly to swing for steelhead and even trout at the end of September just prior to the emergence of the adult October caddis. It is best to coordinate your timing will the falling of the the leaves. October caddis are already an unpredictable hatch, but the pupa become active when they notice temperatures falling. Also, look for pupal shucks along bankside rocks and you will know the time is right. Sometimes fishing a pupa pattern versus the actual adult on the surface will produce more strikes since it is the easier take for steelhead. Fish this pattern with confidence and hang on! - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

77. Sparkle Minnow - Dustin is behind the vise tying one of his all-time favorite streamers; a variation of Coffey's Sparkle Minnow. It has been one of the most productive streamers in the Pacific Northwest or anywhere you like throwing big, flashy baitfish. This pattern has also proven its effectiveness on stillwaters. We've carried these flies in the shop before and they are absolutely deadly. This fly typically works on grey days, but it gets a lot of attention on sunny days as well. Either way, you should definitely include this pattern in your streamer arsenal. To capitalize on this pattern's effectiveness, you will need a dubbing brush tool. Today we're tying this fly in pearl and silver, but you can vary things up by trying gold and pearl, which is ideal for cutthroat. MATERIALS: • TMC #300 Streamer Hook - Size 2 • 1/4" Real Eyes in Nickle/Pearl • White & Gray Maribou • Tan UV Crystal Flash • Silver Ice Dub • Dubbing Brush Tool • .025 Lead Wire - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

78. Green Drake Parachute - The Green Drake Parachute is a great Western Green Drake Pattern. The Green Drake is a great large attractor pattern during the summer months in the West. Green Drake hatches can often be spotty and sparse at times, so having one tied on as an attractor is a great strategy. The Green Drake Parachute is a larger mayfly dry fly pattern. Making it a great choice for a novice fly tier. The Green Drake Parachute can also be tied on other colors such as Brown or Gray. These colors will imitate other types of Drakes, such as Brown and Gray Drakes. Really fun to tie! 79. Two Tone Spinner Fly - This nymph pattern imitates a sunken Mayfly Spinner. I like to use this pattern throughout the Summer and Fall during the PMD Hatch. Yellow and Red on this great bead head nymph make it irresistible to trout in the Colorado Rockies. I like to use a stout saddle hackle on this fly because I believe it helps keep it from hanging up on the bottom. If you would like to catch a bunch of fish on spinners and other mayfly patterns, contact Capt. Matt at http://www.riplips.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

80. CrawBody Crayfish - In this fly tying tutorial, I demonstrate the tying methods for a fly called the CrawBody Crayfish. Representing a favorite meal of both trout and smallmouth bass, the crayfish as a pattern is intended to be fished lower in the water column, and can be utilized in both streams and lakes. There are many variations that you can make to this intermediate pattern, thus feel free to experiment and determine what works best on your local waters. Featured in this tutorial are the S402/S402BL hooks by Allen Fly Fishing (http://www.allenflyfishing.com/s402-streamer-2xl/) these hooks are perfect for this style of pattern. Also of interest to today's fly tying world are the unique CrawBody forms used, created by Flymen Fishing Company (http://flymenfishingcompany.org/products/fish-skull-products/crawbody/) they make the tying of this fly extremely easy. Thanks for viewing this tutorial; if you have any questions/comments, feel free to leave them on this YouTube page or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher
