61. Bise's Buck Tail Pike Muskie Fly - This is a pike and musky fly that I have been working on this spring, with good results. The idea behind the fly is to have a high contrast fly that pushes a decent amount of water while still being castable. With a double hook, weighted head, and articulation the fly swims well. It is designed to trigger strikes via both visual and lateral line stimulation. It can be tied in red/white, black/white, chartreuse/white, or really any color combo you want. Fish this on a sinking line along weed beds and drop offs. It can be fished on a floating line as well with a longer leader for presentations in the top three feet of the water column. MATERIALS: • UV White Buck Tail • Red Buck Tail • Grizzly Hackle • Red Grizzly Hackle • Pearl Flashabou • Arctic Fox Tail • Fish Skull Heads • UTC 140 Red • Dai Riki 4x Long Streamer • Gamakatsu B10S Track: 3 Shades of Black - Hank Williams III, Dubstep remix by the Levitating Elephants http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDugOcdHv-w - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

62. Headbanger Sculpin - My latest articulated streamer utilizing the sculpin helmet. This guy gets down and drums up nice fish. This fly is best fished with a stout leader on a floating line. Be sure to open up your casting stroke or else you will be seeing stars, hence the name. 65. Pregnant Scud - 20% of a trout's diet in still waters, at any time of the year, will be made up by scud (freshwater shrimp). This pattern takes a few key features that trout key in on including the use of an orange bead to represent eggs. Pearl UV dubbing is integrated for extra flash and visibility. Trout will also key in on scuds that have been infected with an intestinal parasite, turning their intestine bright orange. This makes them stand out against their surrounds and an easy meal, and is represented here by a strip of orange poly pro. We've tied this on a Mustad C49s which has a bend but also results in a relatively straight fly, which is important as scuds are relatively straight when swimming, and are curved at rest. Tie them in colours and sizes to suit your local conditions, fish them on a floating line with a long leader or a clear intermediate line. 66. Magic Fly (Pale Watery wingless wet variant) - I will be the first to tell you that I don’t believe in magic bullet flies – flies that you tie on and start bailing fish. This pattern is the closest I’ve found to being the exception. The Sulphur hatch is notorious for producing stillborn flies and frustrated anglers. The same could be said of summer stenos, which have left me muttering to myself on more than one occasion. The first time I fished this fly, it was a classic June Sulphur night on the Farmington. I had a whole pool of trout at my command. They rose to the fly with such carelessness and confidence that I couldn’t believe what was happening. It must be magic. I treat this fly with silica floatant (my favorite is Frog’s Fanny) and fish it like a dry, on a long leader on a dead drift. The soft hackles and spikey body create a must-eat-me-now illusion that turns trout stupid. Alter the size and color and you’ve got a fine match for dorotheas and stenos. The Magic Fly is based on the old Pale Watery Wingless wet. - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher

69. TC's Caddis Pupa - In this fly tying tutorial, I showcase the stage prior to a caddisfly becoming an adult, the pupal stage. This fly, TC's Caddis Pupa, has various materials representing the major characteristics of a caddis pupa, and I encourage you to try others to fool trout and grayling in your area. I also feature a special method of utilizing cdc as legs, which is by incorporating the use of a dubbing loop (though I recommend this method for more intermediate tyers). Featured in this fly tying tutorial are the N205BL hooks by Allen Fly Fishing, which are a thin wire and offset. The hooks are perfect for representing both the larva and pupa stages of the caddis, plus many other insects. Feel free to view these hooks at the following link: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/n205bl-caddis-pupa-and-larva-offset-point/ Thanks for viewing this fly tying tutorial; feel free to leave any comments on this YouTube page or email me: tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher
