46. Tie2Throw Steelhead / Seatrout pattern - This is a truly amazing fly! I fish it for Seatrout when it's dark and Steelhead. You can fish it with a sink-tip / polyleader at any depth, but it can also be fished on top for the summer run Steelhead! Because of the foam head it pushes a lot of water and the fish feel that with their lateral line! Wanna fish it even deeper but you want the foam head... no problem just add a copper/tungsten etc. tube! Adapt the size and color for trout fishing they will love it. Give this great pattern a try! 48. Tying Dry Fly Tails with Microfibetts - During this tutorial, I explain three techniques for utilizing microfibetts when tying dry flies. There are other options available for adding tailing fibers, yet these three are all quick and easy, plus help to imitate the natural adult stage of the mayfly. After tying the tailing fibers in, continue to finish the fly with either dubbing, herl, quill, etc. I prefer the use of microfibett tailing fibers with finicky trout, especially when I want to ensure the fibers will closely represent the natural insect while maintaining buoyancy for the pattern. 50. Doug Swisher's Madam X (Color: Royal) - In this fly tying tutorial, I demonstrate the steps required for Doug Swisher's Madam X. This version, the "Royal," is based on the colors/materials in the Royal Coachman and Wulff (red and peacock, respectively). This is a great attractor pattern, incorporating a deer hair wing tied bullethead style, plus great rubber legs to create vibrations in the water. This is a pattern to use in a variety of situations, most notably as an attractor in faster water; the bonus is that it's a really fun fly to tie! Featured in this tutorial are the N202 Terrestrial/Hopper hooks from Allen Fly Fishing; these are excellent hooks that match this pattern perfectly. Find the hooks at the following link: http://www.allenflyfishing.com/n202-nymph-dry-fly/ Thanks for viewing this tutorial; feel free to leave comments/questions on this YouTube page, or email me: Tcammisa@gmail.com - fly fishing video channel - Global FlyFisher
