Kasper,

If I had one only for all the fishing I'm likely to bump into it would be a gold beaded hare's ear nymph. That will catch almost anything that swims.

For stream fishing I would choose a similar nymph or a CDC&Elk dry fly.

For saltwater I would choose something like a Grey Frede. That would catch everything from trout to bonefish.

Martin

For saltwater fishing I would choose orange streamer made from polar fox, orange spectra dubbing and orange cock.

For stillwater fishing montana lure is my first choice.

For river fishing it should be small CDC sedge tied on hook # 14 or 16.

Salt - Magnus
Fresh - Daddylonglegs and goldhead GRHE

I almost always get fish on these flies, regardless of where I fish.

it would definitly be a light olive czech nymph, medium weighted. A really buggy flie that will catch all from small ┬┤predators (perch) to grayling and whitefish.

Fish,

Those are good looking flies! I cross my fingers for some sunny, calm and dry weather in your neighborhood.

Thanks Martin...

it is great here and warm

I hope that it will stay the same when I come back, but I'll use those flies in any weather probably...as long as the water stays clear enough..

for now:

greetings from Athens Wink

The One fly i never leave home without is a Gold Bead Hares Ear nymph.
for dryflyfishing there is always a small black Klinkhamer in the box.

I fish primarily on the danish coast ant my overall favorite is a good big hairy mudler for nightfishing.....but in the daytime another favorite is "Jorgens Demon"......

Just tied a bunch of "Epoxy Miracles" in green and in brownish - so maybe a new favorite is comin' up Very Happy
