Hi Guys, i caught a 4kg 71cm Brown in the Tongariro River last weekend.
The fishery managers are asking that all browns be kept and a sample of the liver and some flesh be donated to them for research. This is a primarily Rainbow fishery and the Department of Conservation think that the browns predation of Rainbow fry is getting to the point where the Rainbow fishery is suffering.
