Hi....I've been busy with the UV gel again....This time I've tied a Burrowing Sand Eel.... The hook shank is weighted Clouser style with 2 split shot, which dig into the sand (didn't have any lead dumbells).... The hook fish's shank down and when twitched, kicks up the bottom..... The fly fish's nose down like a fleeing Sand Eel trying to burrow into the sandy bottom.

David, the fly looks very interesting. Would you be so kind and could you provide me with the name of hair you used for the body (wing) of this fly? Is it DNA or Ultra hair?

Hi Pike....The hair is Supreme Hair, the colours are white, olive and black. I have also tied a slightly different one using DNA Holofusion.
