Many of the flies on this web site are in black&white and many of them are only shown as small pictures without details. But sometimes it's nice to see the details and colors of the flies.

This small gallery contains a selection of the flies shown on the site. Most of them are scanned from photos, but a few are scanned directly in a color scanner. Read more about taking pictures of flies and scanning them directly in the article "From Feathers to Bits".
