Silver Glödhäck
Anton Pousar tying a scandinavian style tube fly for salmon called Silver Glödhäck. Me and Anton were doing a fly tying workshop and I decided to film his part for my blog. It was pretty tough to edit because there was lots of stuff I needed to cut out and speed up because the tying was focused for the tyers at the workshop, not the video. I just tried to be out of the way mostly with my camera.

Slight Hackle (pink salmon fly)
Here we have one of the newer pink salmon flies being tied in our shop. With this fly the key is the shape: you need and slender body, big hackle and a tail that sits almost straight off the shank. Just looking at it... you KNOW it will catch pinks. Enjoy!

Beiss
This is a beautiful fly originally designed by Ulf Sill that will entice any salmon or trout with it's amazing movement in even the softest current. Combine that with a little Salar Alta gold sparkle and good balance because of the cone and brass 6mm tube and you have a amazing pattern. This pattern has worked really well for me on Atlantic Salmon and Sea-trout. But I'll bet big trout will love it too! Maybe next time the river is low and clear I will swing it trough the pool for some Steelhead!

I know it's not a good video but I thought you could get something from it as it's a practice one that I had done to get a feel of how to film tying a classic style salmon fly. As you can see there's a few mistakes, the main one is that I forgot to switch the camera on when I was filming the tying on of the blue hackle sorry...
