They have taken their most popular reel for beginners and made it even better by adding innovations typically found in reels twice as expensive. A redesigned housing and spool made of die-cast aluminum ensures enhanced performance and will withstand the wear and tear of the roughest fishing trips. The lightweight large arbor design enables you to retrieve line more quickly and reduces tangling.

The reel has a smooth in-line Rulon drag system that protects finer tippets while stopping hard fighting fish. Covered clutch bearing resists dirt and easily converts for right- or left-hand retrieve, and a quick-change spool system makes it easy to switch lines.
