Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing Inc. is an organization that helps soldiers recover from war trauma and wounds through fly-tying and fly fishing, and the US Army is now actively endorsing the program, covering it on the official Military home page.

"What began in 1984, as an opportunity for a few wounded warriors at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center at Bethesda, Md., has grown into more than 140 programs nationwide."
