Fantastic spring

This year has started off very promising on the Danish coast

You know that when farmers say that crops are OK, the harvest is beyond their wildest dreams. It may be the same with anglers. If we say that a season is really good, it must be because it surpasses anything we ever experienced.

I don't know whether this is the case here, but this spring certainnly seems to be one of the better ones I have experienced, both with regards to weather and fishing.

We just returned from our annual Bornholm trip and had excellent fishing and wheather a lot beter than any of us remember ever having had. The story of this trip remains to be told, but let me relay to you that we shot about 3,700 (three thousand and seven hundred!) pictures during the week long trip, and there will be a feature on the trip on this site in the near future.

As we returned, there were a few quiet days, but the last few days have been fantastic with stories of better and more consistent catches than we have heard for a long while. Friend Henning and I had a couple of spectacular days this weekend, and I'm anxious to hear from Henning who's out again today.

Pictures describe it better:

The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
