Tying instructions
- Start the thread in the rear of the tube allowing a third of the tube to be free of materials
- Tie in a black hackle and wind it three times
- Tie down and trim excess
- Dub half of the remaining body
- Tie in a second black hackle and wind it three times
- Tie down and trim excess
- Dub the remaining body leaving space for hackle and head
- Tie in a blue hackle and wind it three times
- Tie down and trim excess
- Form a head, whip finish and varnish
