Nymph: Named the Cheap Lazy Bastard because the originator, Joe Kissane, uses cheap materials whenever possible, takes shortcuts (because he's lazy) and the fly is a bastard - the original pattern mated illicitly with the body of any number of famous nymphs.

...here, nothing there: Sometimes trout and grayling sip "nothing" from the surface. You have tried the smallest parachute in your fly box - size 18. What they are taking is much smaller. You look again into your fly box, and right - there is no "Nothing" there.

Body/hackle CDC feather type I or IV. Note type I make a more attractive fly. Type IV feathers certainly make fishable flies

Rio Lagartos is a small town on the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico which is an excellent starting point for a tarpon trip. GFF partner Martin Joergensen's trip there didn't bring the big 100 lbs. tarpon, but many decent ones - plus the odd jack and snook.

Destination Trout - New Zealand

A varied and thorough introduction to trout fishing in New Zealand, and a very appetizing guide to many destination on the two islands. Lots of specific information and lots of fishing action - 3 hours actually! Some years old, but still well worth the watch.
