When the bottle came in the mail, I got out an old hankie and wet a small bit and ran the line through the hankie a few times. Out to the yard to see how it cast. Hmm ... it was noticeably slicker and flowed through the guides with ease. Nice.

A very versatile material

Golden Pheasant must be one of the most versatile fly-tying materials you can get your hands on. The wealth of different feathers on one skin is simply overwhelming. And the skin is inexpensive too.

GFF Summit 2006

The first meeting amongst GFF fans and contributors took place on the Danish island of Fyn in pursuit of sea trout. People of many nationalities met and fished for a nice September weekend, and had a fabulous fishing with a large number of fish caught.

Getting wet - or not

Fishing on the coast in the winter is very close to some obscure kind of self torture. There are only vague chances of catching anything, it's usually pretty unconfortable and you would mostly be better off staying home tying flies. But GFF partner Martin Joergensen went out anyway.
