There are good fishing dogs. Ruby goes on nearly every outing to the home fishing holes on the Talkeetna River. She never gets in the way, and loves to watch the fight and the release.

From the Ice. Taking 18"-24" Rainbow Trout just after break up while standing on the shelf ice. It made for trickey landings, but it was worth it. Taken on "Royal Muddler" of my own design.
