Rated Above average (4) with 3 votes. | Early season fish in the Haka are large, strong fish. Even 7.5 lb tippet is no match at times. My sister Val will attest that Kiwi guide Steve Carey is a wizard fish finder & fly selector.

A small private fishery with trout of all persuasions; nymph, mayfly, sedge, midge, damsel and just plain aggressive attackers of Woolly Buggers. You can just make out the Mayfly against the orange sky.
