Low water level and warm Autumn has produced this raft of Blue/Green Algae. Not at all harmful to the trout but do not drink or bathe in the untreated water.

Brown trout have very distinctive markings. This fat 6lb Autumn smelter is rapidly stacking on weight for the long Winter ahead.

Danish Pastry Fly

This fly recently changed its name from The Copper Camel to The Danish Pastry Fly for reasons that are revealed in the article. It's an efficient and simple pattern for sea trout, but is very likely to be just as able to catch bass, bonefish and many other species.
