GFF Summit 2006
The first meeting amongst GFF fans and contributors took place on the Danish island of Fyn in pursuit of sea trout. People of many nationalities met and fished for a nice September weekend, and had a fabulous fishing with a large number of fish caught.

The Messy Pike Fly
Not one of Martin Joergensen's usual pike flies. For that it is way too complex and has too many tying steps and too many different materials. He doesn't like complex pike flies. "I spend dozens of minutes tying one, and a pike spends seconds shredding it!" he says.

Capt. Mel's Tube Knot
About 5 years ago after seeing so many really bad knots connecting the fly line to the butt leader section, Captain Mel Simpson came up with a knot that does not break, is a permanent part of the fly line and will easily go through the guides if necessary.

Bonefish - a fishing odyssey
Charles Rangeley-Wilson is an apparently mild-mannered Englishman who spends most of his time in the London area. But he is addicted to bonefishing, so much so that he shows signs of withdrawal when unable to cast a fly on a Caribbean flat for some time. This resulted in a DVD.
