Catch&Release

Releasing the fish we catch is getting more necessary every day if we want to continue fishing in the future. This is the main contribution a fly fisher can do for the conservation of the environment. Carlos Heinsohn provides a logo, which can be used to promote C&R.

Bassin'

The book contains the information you would expect from a book on fly fishing for bass - bass bug tactics, water types, seasonal changes, but what separates this book are two chapters - one dealing with the fly fishing for bass, and one dealing with "bassin'".

Charles Weiss

Charles contacted me as a result of having seen our long-running series on fishy artists, and after having seen his fish carvings I found him more than worthy as a participant. Charles also paints and draws - cartoons and caricatures in particular.

Bumpy Mexico

GFF partner Martin Joergensen took on the Mexican bonefish during a two week stay in Punta Allen north of Ascension Bay last winter. It wound up being a trip that was bumpy in more than one sense - both on and off the water. But with plenty bonefish.
