Big Brown Trout on a may fly. This one was spotted when chasing for may flies under a bridge. It has taken the fly immediately when touching the water.

A Char, just bevor it was released. This species is not very common in Germany. If you get one, it was surely put in by the owner of the water or a fishing club.

Bonefish - a fishing odyssey

Charles Rangeley-Wilson is an apparently mild-mannered Englishman who spends most of his time in the London area. But he is addicted to bonefishing, so much so that he shows signs of withdrawal when unable to cast a fly on a Caribbean flat for some time. This resulted in a DVD.

Good, Bad, and Ugly

Having wrapped my share of thread over the years, I thought it was time to revisit a long held interest of mine - traditional salmon flies. My first attempt years ago was pretty disappointing, and I was hoping my skills had evolved enough for me to take that next step and produce a better result.
