Break a rod
There is nothing easier than breaking a flyrod. Former fishing guide Roland Henrion describes 10 easy ways to do it for those who want to try. The advice can of course be translated into 10 ways of avoiding rod breakage if you don't.

Flyfishing with a float
Even though you might not be able to use a flyrod, you can fish with a fly anyway. Use a spinning rod and a casting float, and you will be able to cover a lot of water, fish in harsh conditions, cast large flies and even fish dries or nymphs in a stream.

At long last
GFF partner Martin managed to get his hands on a great new recorder and immediately went fishing and recorded his first podcast in months! The podcast is mostly about that: recording again, but also covers the recently held GFF Summit in Denmark and a few other subjects.
