Taken at a small local river while trout fishing. The rod is a 6pc Loop Blueline #5 and the reel an ATH Gallatin I. The camera a Canon Ixus70. Since the fly at this moment was stuck in a bush, I place it in the "gear" rather than the "fighting" category. Still, it could have been a giant trout at the end of that line. Sometimes I tell myself (and fly fishing friends) that it was.

Equipment test under harsh conditions. Jurassic Lake runs out of scale. It┤s hard to comprehend how much landlocked Steelheads are in the Jurassic Lake... and at least... how strong they are! Frontier Expedition to Jurassic Lake. 59mm ---- F/4,8 ---- 1/125 Sek. ---- ISO - 320----

Fishing for late Coho's at the local creek mouth, I was alerted by the calls of Bald Eagles to the presence of a large Brown Bear cruising the beach for the last of the salmon run. After his departure from the scene we inspected the tracks, and I snapped this photo for a keep-sake of the passing of this top anglar. Taken with Nikon 990 digital
