Night fishing for sea trout is one of my favorite types of fishing. In this podcast I take you on a night fishing trip and let you get some of the impressions that I had during the darkest hours of a night on the Swedish coast.

No fish are caught while recording, but the trip was an overall success with 22 fish registered in the journal -- of these 15 sea trout. That was between three anglers, but even though we were night fishing, quite a few of the fish were caught during the day. This an important fact to observe: fish are there through the day in the summer too.

And there is something completely new in this podcast: music! I found Magnatune, which is a very cool online music label that allows non-commercial podcasters (like me) to use their artist's music for free on their podcasts, even without asking. So I have fooled around with Jag's lovely guitar blues and tried integrating a bit of his music into the outdoors tracks recorded in situ on the coast. Let me know what you think about this new experiment.
It takes a lot of time in the production phase, so if you don't like it, I'll drop it again.

Another non-fising issue is that I have cut the size of the files significantly by encoding in a lower quality. This should not influence the sound, but in case you find that the quality is too poor, let me know.

Images for this day's podcast
Brazilian beef - A meal good enough for barons - marinated and barbecued sirloin, grilled vegetables and freshly boiled new potatoes.

In the dark - Henning had problems keeping in balance while fly fishing from the rocks so he finally hauled out a spinning rod and sat down on a stone and fished -- and caught fish.

Beautiful but challenging - It is hard to wade in daylight, but imagine the same stretch when it\'s dark! These rocks are on the average 1 meter or 3 feet in diameter. Pretty rough bottom.

Coffee-brewing - The freshly brewed coffee is a life saver when night fishing
Daylight fish - Even though we were supposed to night fish, there was no reason not to catch fish during the day.

Barsebäck Ant - A giant mutant ant-hopper-foam-thinggy. Not a big producer... yet, but definitely a fly that can catch sea trout in the night.
