Today, my family and I decided to drive a few hours to the Cheesman Canyon to hike in and fish the South Platte River. My step-son Kollin (13) is really getting into flyfishing and it is time he got a chance at some big fish. While catching a few fish this day, I discuss a variety of topics including kids fishing, the four plights of the South Platte River, my perfect casting(!), my on-air hat idea, and why GFF has over-glorified the fishing gods. After relaxing streamside with a cup of hot cocoa, we decided to walk out of the canyon and hit a local establishment in Castle Rock, CO to listen to a good friends band play. I include a special number from The Front Street Blues Band at the end of the podcast.
