Poul Jorgensen's new book will be out in English

Danish-American Poul Jorgensen's new book on salmon flies was written in English and translated to Danish, and will be out in English through the publisher of the original salmon fly book 'Salmon Flies - Their Character, Style, and Dressing'.

This was what the Danish publisher Morten Valeur and Poul Jorgensen himself told me during a recent book signing session in a tackle shop here in Copenhagen. Jorgensen was in the middle of a Danish road show with tying shows, classes and book signing as a part of the marketing of the new Danish book which has already sold very well.

Jorgensen mentioned the fact that he was very pleased to have a book out in Danish, but I am sure that many foreign fly tyers will be happy to hear the the book will be accessible in English too. It's an excellent book and a fine heir to Jorgensen's classic.
