EZ flies - that's what they are in the genuine all-American-marketing-way. Five classics with their patterns modified to be fairly easy and fast to tie - not least because of the simple body construction using the braided tubing EZ-Body from J.A.Enterprises in stead of the typical ribbed tinsel body. This material can also be substituted with the more commonly accsessible braided mylar tubing. The EZ Blue Charm   EZ Blue Charm
Materials: Hook TIEMCO 7989 size 6 or 8 Thread Black 10/0 or 12/0 Tail Blue Hackle fibers Body EZ Body Pearl or Silver, size mini Throat hackle Blue hackle fibers or blue Guinea Fowl Wing Black squirrel tail Head Black
Tying instructions: Place hook into the vice and cover the shank with tying thread until point just above the barb. Tie in blue hackle fibers for the tail, wrap thread forward to hookeye and tie off. Cut off a piece of EZ-Body, matching the shank of the hook, shove it over the shank, and tie in at the base of the tail. Make a few wraps and tie off with a whip finish knot. Tie off EZ-Body behind the hookeye, leaving enough space to tie in the wing and the throathackle. Tie in a small bunch of black Squirrel, (a tiny glob of Super Gel may do no harm). Tie in blue hackle fibers for the throathackle. Tie off with a whip finish knot.
EZ Peter Ross	EZ Peter Ross A pattern typically used for sea trout and brownies in many European waters. Materials: Hook Tiemco 7989 size 6 or 8 Thread Black 10/0 or 12/0 Tail GP tippets Body EZ-Body Pearl or Silver size mini for rear part and red Dubbing Brush for front Hackle Teal feather Head Black
Tying instructions: Place hook into the vice and cover the shank with tying thread until point just above the barb. Tie in GP tippets for the tail, wrap thread forward to hookeye and tie off. Cut off a piece of EZ-Body, matching the shank of the hook, shove it over the shank, and tie in at the base of the tail. Make a few wraps and tie off with a whip finish knot. Tie off EZ-Body behind the hookeye, leaving enough space to tie the rest of the materials. Tie in a red Dubbing Brush and make 2-3 wraps forward. Tie in folded teal feathers for the front hackle. Make 2-3 wraps forward Tie off with a whip finish knot. EZ Medicine This deadly blue-and-silver pattern was developed by the late Hugh Falkus.

Tie off EZ-Body behind the hookeye, leaving enough space to tie in the wing and the hackle. Tie in Squirrel wing and apply a little bit of Supergel. Tie in the folded blue hackle and make 3 to 4 wraps. Tie off with a whip finish knot.
EZ Bloody Butcher Materials: Hook Tiemco 7989 size 6 or 8 Thread Black 10/0 or 12/0 Tail Red Hackle fibers Body EZ-Body Pearl or Silver, size mini Throat hackle Red Hackle fibers Wing Black squirrel tail Head Black Tying instructions: Place hook into the vice and cover the shank with tying thread until point just above the barb. Tie in red hackle fibers for the tail, wrap thread forward to hookeye and tie off. Cut off a piece of EZ-Body, matching the shank of the hook, shove it over the shank, and tie in at the base of the tail. Make a few wraps and tie off with a whip finish knot. Tie off EZ-Body behind the hookeye, leaving enough space to tie in the wing and the throathackle. Tie in a small bunch of black Squirrel, (a little dab of Super Gel will do). Tie in red hackle fibers for the throathackle. Tie off with a whip finish knot.
EZ March Brown Silver Materials: Hook Tiemco 905 BL size 6 EZ March Brown Silver Thread Black 10/0 or 12/0 Tail Partridge Hackle fibers Body EZ-Body Silver, size mini Hackle Partridge Hackle fibers Wing Mottled Turkey Head Black
Tying instructions: Place hook into the vice and cover the shank with tying thread until point just above the barb. Tie in Partridge hackle fibers for the tail, wrap thread forward to, hookeye and tie off. Cut off a piece of EZ-Body, matching the shank of the hook, shove it over the shank, and tie in at the base of the tail. Make a few wraps and tie off with a whip finish knot. Tie off EZ-Body behind the hookeye, leaving enough space to tie in the wing and the hackle. Tie in the folded Partridge hackle and make 2-3 wraps forward. Place Turkey wing on top of the hookshank and tie in. Tie off with a whip finish knot.
