Body: Medium flat silver tinsel with two narrow strips of pale blue flat tinsel tied in, one on each side, before the body is wound, so that they extend along both sides of the body
Throat: White bucktail as long as the hook, with a very small bunch of red hackle fibers beneath, tied in very short
Wing: Four silver gray saddle hackles
Shoulders: Each a ripon's silver pheasant body feather, one fourth as long as the wing
Cheeks: Jungle cock, very short

Heart of the Driftless

Another extremely beautiful video from Robert Thompson. Driftless has nothing to do with the drift of a fly, but with glacial traces - glacial drift - in this case in southwestern Wisconsin.
