Karup River - Huge sea trout in Denmark

The river is known for some of the biggest sea trout in Europe. It is truly a unique type of sea trout in the river which in known for being short and fat. The population was low for many years due to over exploitation. Local anglers and the community turned this curve and brought the fish back to a healthy population. Allan Johansen are fishing in the film and the first words says it all.
