At roughly 2 million acres, the Spatsizi Wilderness in northern British Columbia, is the home waters for the Collingwood Family of Spatsizi Wilderness Lodge. This film documents Ray Collingwood's vision, beginning in the late 60's, to operate a world-class rainbow trout fly-fishing lodge with his family. With stunning aerial footage of the Eaglenest Range and Firesteel River Valley, including birds-eye views from Ray Collingwood's multiple float planes, Todd Moen highlights the essence of family in this fly-fishing heaven. This rare and epic day with father-daughter duo, Ray Collingwood and Carrie Collingwood, in a world-class rainbow trout fishery will capture the heart of every angler. There is no doubt about it, the Collingwood Family has it figured out right.

Season #5 DVD Including Winter Run and Bonus interviews available here.

Fishing for winter steelhead is best described by Bill McMillan, fisherman and author of "Dry Line Steelhead" describes winter as being the most difficult of seasons for searching of steelhead on the fly.
The mere challenge of nature's moody elements, the cold weather as snow and rain, and the limited daylight draws only those anglers who are seeking to experience something beyond the mere fishing itself, even beyond the hooking of the magnificent fish. Winter steelhead evoke a sort of reverence because, in short, they are extremely hard to come by. All the elements surrounding the steelhead become even more epic when placed in the severity of winter. Therefore, the preparation, the adventure from sunup to sundown and the struggle of the search for this evocative strain of steelhead in winter conditions is what I tried to capture in this T-Motion Theater "Winter Run".

Sky High Salmonfly

During the last week of May, the adult salmonflies on the Deschutes River in Oregon start driving fly fishers and rainbows crazy. This video, Sky High Salmonflies, came together with weather perfect, bugs everywhere and with two angler/guides with a rare day off work. Elke Littleleaf and Jakob Lund get caught up in the frenzy. Amid great scenery and slashing strikes on dry flies, I experimented with some new camera technology. For an amazing experience during the salmonfly hatch please contact Elke and Alysia Littleleaf at Littleleaf Guide Service -- 541-615-0402 or e-mail Thanks to Jakob and Elke for a great couple of action packed days on the river. Steelhead Dreams, part 2

Part #2 of the epic trip to Northern British Columbia. it was a glimpse into a life most people dream of; living within a short walk to stellar waters, seeing mountains in every direction, and sharing habitat with North America's kings of the food chain - the grizzly bears and wolves who frequently visit camp. A great story about two amazing women.

Heads or tails

Nice stream fishing! Shot in Dillon, Montana in 2010.

Circle 3 Spring Creek

An excellent promotion video for Circle 3 Spring Creek (or crick as the owner calls it), with some beautiful shots of landscapes and fishing as well as a great story about the restoration and conservation efforts put into this little pearl.
