White Rabbit Minnow

Just like Fred's Polar Express Minnow pattern, the White Rabbit Minnow is a simple yet very effective use of materials for a great minnow imitation. This fly can be used at any time of the year, but it works particularly well in the colder months. Try fishing this down and across with a slow deep strip with a single hander, or don't be afraid to get out the two hander and get your swing on for some heftier fish. Flies on the swing cover lots of water, look natural swimming across the current and give fish a nice broadside look that makes it hard for them not to play a game of cat and mouse, or in this case, trout and white rabbit.
